> 3 dayI needed a LAN adapter for my Pixelbook for Stadia and for my second wired-only network. Upon testing this adapter; I can hit max speeds (1gbit) on my network. The adapter doesnt get hot (although its a little warm to the touch after an hour of operation). Latency with the LAN adapter is extremely good. When testing with Stadia; almost all stuttering went away while using this adapter. After a 30+ minute game session; the adapter was barely warm to the touch. Overall I am very satisfied with this adapter; its great for anyone with one of these modern laptops that just uses USB-C. The other nice thing is that it works naively on Windows, ChromeOS, Android (those are the 3 I tested). If this review helped you at all; please mark it helpful! Thanks!

> 3 dayI plugged the device into my phone and tethered Ethernet to my phone. It works. But its about 5-10 times slower than using the wifi hotspot on my phone. People use Ethernet for faster speeds, not much, much slower speed. Avoid.

> 3 dayDoesnt really work. Works for a short bit, then freezes your Zoom call and the computer switches back to WIFI. Tried on two different new computers and same problem on both. Tried a different brand Ethernet adapter which works consistently on our other computers.

Greater than one weekThis device does work, the problem is you lose over half your internet speed when its hooked up. I dont have a very fast connection and need all the bandwidth I can get. If you dont mind losing half your bandwidth then this device will work for you oh, its just not for me...

> 3 dayPurchased this adapter because I needed a cabled ethernet connection. The HP Spectre x360 was lacking one feature, wired ethernet. Solved that issue with this marvelous adapter! Truly plug n play, windows11 picked it up and installed without me doing anything except plugging it in. I wish everything was that easy!

> 3 dayNeeded a device that could be directedly assigned to a KVM based VM under RedHat. This worked like a charm.
