I had to run a RJ45 Ethernet cable from the router to my office to have a reliable connection. I also plug it into my Apple TV and I receive a strong connection. I’m so grateful that this adapter was available for purchase.

> 3 dayIt appears that when connecting to the USB-C port of a PC, the internet speed is about half of the speed if the connection was directly with an RJ45 to an RJ45 port on the PC and not through an adapter. That was one reason I returned a new laptop 2 days after getting it. Dont know if it was the adapter or the USB-C port.

> 3 dayThis works beautifully. For the new laptop I was using it with, I had to adjust the Power Management settings for the LAN/Ethernet Adapter to make sure the system didnt Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. Uncheck that setting; otherwise it will probably disconnect you.
