> 3 daySo far, it works well with my lightweight laptop which does not have Ethernet port. I connect this adapter to the laptops USB-C and connect the Ethernet cable to the other end of the adapter. I am happy with this purchase and hope the adapter will last for at least a few years.

> 3 dayThis product is sourced from Asix Taiwan wheee you get driver updates. The company has been taking quite a while on driver updates for macOS Big Sur. Finally in December 2019 they made a beta driver available. But this requires a root level configuration to Disable System Integrity Protection.” This is not a good idea. Am writing this review to hopefully get the company to release a normal driver update foe Big Sur that is plug and play. Until then. Don’t buy.

> 3 dayUsing it on my IPad Pro. Allows me to have a hardwired connection to the internet which is much faster than my wireless option.

> 3 day(UPDATE): Well it did work great for a 1 week but then it started dropping off line a number of times each day. I saw this in many of the reviews on here so I know its not my computer or modem because they both work fine wirelessly. Im going to try another brand AND Im going to try a USB 3.0 plug in instead of the USB-c one. From the many reviews, Anker is supposed to be great but Im not convinced. Im going to try one from Cable Creations now and hope for the best... (Original review) Im paying for 100mbps internet speed but I was only getting @ 72mbps. They told me it was because I was using wireless instead of an Ethernet cable. Even with the cable I was only getting @ 92mbps. My new Dell computer doesnt have an Ethernet port so I bought this item. I plugged it in, it needed NO drivers and my speed jumped to 110mbps. Thank you.

> 3 dayI purchased this for my Lenovo Chromebook Flex 5, plugged it into the USB C port, connected a cat6a ethernet cable and BOOM it was working in less than 60 seconds after opening the package. Performance is great. Cant ask for more than that!

> 3 dayI went through two Dell adaptors and used the Ugreen as a backup, I ordered another Ugreen because it works fine at half the price of the Dell. I wont be buying Dell again.

> 3 dayMy unit doesnt work at all. Ive worked with it for two days and am sad to report that I cannot find anything to work with a Pixelbook 2. Going off comments others made on a Google community forum about this issue, there is another device thats supposed to work for Google pixelbooks.

03-06-2025Loved it! The Plug & Play feature allowed a quick connection of high-speed internet to my new PC Laptop. No driver software was required.
