Greater than one weekIt appears that when connecting to the USB-C port of a PC, the internet speed is about half of the speed if the connection was directly with an RJ45 to an RJ45 port on the PC and not through an adapter. That was one reason I returned a new laptop 2 days after getting it. Dont know if it was the adapter or the USB-C port.

> 3 dayThese adapters work great to help take advantage of LAN Capabilities when new laptops these days dont have built in ports.

Greater than one weekThis works beautifully. For the new laptop I was using it with, I had to adjust the Power Management settings for the LAN/Ethernet Adapter to make sure the system didnt Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power. Uncheck that setting; otherwise it will probably disconnect you.

> 3 dayMy house is wired using Cat 8 cables, but my HP zBook doesnt have RJ45 port. Only Thunderbolt ports. This little device solved the problem. Ookla is showing 900 Mbps download speed, top speed of my Xfinity plan.

06-06-2025Works on both my Samsung Galaxy Tab A tablet and OnePlus 8 5G cellphone. On the cellphone I got the following download speeds using speedtest.net website: T-Mobile 5G - 29 Mbps WIFI - 340 Mbps Ethernet - 899 Mbps Samsung download/upload speeds were a little disappointing (as compared to the OnePlus) using speedtest.net application: WIFI (download/upload) - 112/217 Ethernet (download/upload) - 328/239 An improvement, yes, but not like the OnePlus 8.
