> 3 dayGreat product, easy to use, well made and with wonderful sun protection. Holds up well during windy days which are plentiful in the desert SW. Also since we have had much hotter than normal summer weather in the hotter than hell Valley of the Sun, without this umbrella I would be totally melting and unable to go outside at all. A must buy if you are unlocking enough to live in the desert SW especially between June through Aug. There is also a very high risk of skin cancer here because of the constant sun and it is medically necessary to protect your skin. This is better MUCH better than hats. Everyone should buy one.

> 3 dayI love the weight and feel of this. Weight indicates quality to me. And it comes with a carrying case with a strap that can be worn like a backpack. It is comfortable to hold and I felt absolutely protected vs. not having it. I tend to undo the velcro starts and hold the frame from the inside, keeping it ready to open at a moments notice. A word of caution: Most people walking wont have umbrellas, and this is a pretty wide one. Be careful not to poke anyone. In terms of people staring because you have an umbrella on a sunny day? Are we in grade school? So what?! Check out my pic of the indoors use. It protects me from a glaring sun while working at home too.

> 3 dayMust have for blocking sun. Slightly bulkier then a standard umbrella but blocks the sun perfectly. Provides a good amount of shade for 1-2 people.

> 3 dayI like this umbrella a lot. The size, features and sun protection are excellent. But within a few months, the internal closure mechanism failed, and the umbrella can no longer be closed. The supplier doesnt list any contact info for warranty replacement, so the 1-year warranty is worthless. Summary: nice umbrella for short-term use, but it doesnt hold up to real-world usage. Update: I did finally locate the contact info for this company and returned the broken umbrella. The return shipping only cost half as much as buying a new umbrella. Warranty service was excellent! I received a brand-new replacement umbrella within a few days. I am bumping up my rating from 2 to 4 stars for the superb warranty service.

> 3 dayThe umbrella is quite sturdy and I ( melanoma survivor) trust effective against UV rays. Im sure people watching me walk around with it on rainless days must think Im a bit dotty, but hopefully Im at the vanguard of a movement to use anti-UV umbrellas in this time of deadly climate change.

Greater than one weekI got this for my husband to use during autocross, which entails standing on asphalt for hours at a time with no shade. We live in Florida so the heat can be pretty extreme. This umbrella has been great! He says it makes a huge difference and really helps take the edge off the heat. Plus it protects from sunburns on the arms, face, head, and neck. The vents in the fabric keep the heat from getting trapped underneath, which was a problem with other umbrellas he has used in the past.

> 3 dayVery good quality, if you need sun protection this is great, it has a strap go you can sling over your shoulder and bring with you in case you need. size is perfect not to big to be in the way . I would of liked the handle to be longer because I would stick it in my belt & let it rest on my shoulder then could have use of my hands. But great for hot out door events for people with medical conditions that are not allowed to be in the sun.

> 3 dayVery well package, seemingly well constructed product. Has embroidered logo on both the case & the umbrella itself. The addition of a shoulder strap to the case is nice because it’s definitely got some weight to it for a “travel” umbrella. It weighs more than twice as much as my standard travel umbrellas, and is bulkier both length and width wise. I did not find it any harder to open and close than any other umbrellas I’ve had, both functions were smooth. As far as shade and sun protection - I tried it out in the Phoenix sun on a 110 degree day in July and it does help, but I would say that making it 15 degrees cooler underneath is an exaggeration. It did seem more effective at absorbing/reflecting the baking heat than my standard umbrella that I was using for comparison, but for the $50 price tag - I should hope so, not as much difference as I’d expected though. I hope it holds up well over time to justify the price tag, because there were more affordable options, but seemed like they may be less durable from reviews.

> 3 dayThere are so many things that can be improved upon with this UV umbrella, however, the biggest issue is the weight. I purchased a UV umbrella since Ive been diagnosed with skin cancer multiple times. I thought this would be a great addition for when I need to be out in the sun. However, my arm tires quickly from holding this umbrella. Its a lot heavier than any umbrella Ive ever had. Id rather pay more money for you to source lighter parts. The handle is also very awkward to hold and is a bit wobbly. The attached bungie strap also seems ill placed; I typically like to be able to place it around my wrist while I am holding the umbrella to prevent it from blowing out of my hand, but its on the opposite side of the handle. Was there no usability testing?? It is overall bulky. I could look past all of this if it was at least lightweight.
