> 3 dayI took my two-month-old to Aruba and since she is so young and unable to use sunscreen I brought this everywhere we went. It is slightly on the heavy side but nothing unmanageable. I only wish it came in a hands-free version that could be clipped onto the stroller or a backpack or something so that I could have my hands free.

> 3 dayThis was called a travel umbrella, I guess because it has a cover that can be slung on your shoulder by a strap? It is HEAVY. I live in the desert, I need a sun blocker when I walk my dog. After 30 minutes of holding this my hand/arm were very fatigued. It is way too big and way too heavy for a brisk 30 minute walk. I did jot want to buy the smaller umbrella because it had a really cheesy handle. An expensive blunder of a purchase. It did block the sun but impossibly heavy. Not for daily dog walking.

> 3 dayI used this umbrella at my granddaughters high school graduation and got there early to sit at the top of the bleachers so not to block anyones view. My family always teases me and especially when they arrived and saw my umbrella up. They had a great time laughing. Before the event started I had two different strangers come up to feel the difference from their regular sun umbrella to my UV-Blocker umbrella and you could feel the difference. I was also surprised to see all the regular umbrellas going up and not even sun umbrellas. Im glad I came prepared with sun block on and this umbrella. It protected and kept me cool from the heat of the direct sun.

Greater than one weekTook this on a trip to Disney World in August, it was HOT... I dont do well in the heat. It certainly saved me from baking to death in the sun. Dont get me wrong, it was still hot, but I was able to find relief in the shade this baby provided. Also, my fair skin did not get sunburned. The only thing I would change is that this is a bit heavy so it did get a little tiresome to carry all day. However, the wrist strap did help somewhat. Its sturdy and operated perfectly each and everyone of the 100 times I opened and closed it that trip. I would recommend this umbrella to everyone!

> 3 dayDid a heat test on a 95° day. From underneath the UV Blocker temp was 105° the standard black Umbrella was 142° these temperatures were read after Umbrellas sat in sun for 15 minutes. Dropped 1 star because mechanism in handles need to be built out of something other than plastic. 2 Umbrellas broke after only a couple of months of use.

> 3 dayI really love this UV blocker and, in a way, it’s difficult to describe what it does in simplistic terms on paper. In bright high-UV sunlight, the UV blocker blocks out the radiant heat/UV rays. With an inexpensive sun shade, while it blocks out some of the bright light, you can still feel the radiant heat on your skin as UV rays can still penetrate the material. Conversely, the UV blocker is akin to standing under a shady overhang while the intense sun’s UV rays beats down from above. You no longer feel that radiant heat on your skin while under the UV blocker and, while the UV blocker is a bit heavier than a $10.00 sun shade, it does do what it was designed for.

> 3 dayThis is a GREAT product ! Better protection, better coverage and cooler than wearing a hat ! And a big plus is that it doesnt ruin your hairstyle like wearing a hat does. This umbrella is a necessity for those of us who must avoid direct sunlight. I keep an extra one in my car at all times- so handy!

> 3 dayThis is an amazing product. I ordered it for vacation - we went to Orlando and hit all the theme parks. It was super hot. I used my UV umbrella at every park and it really helps to cut out the heat & sun. I have a very light complexion & I burn easily. I didnt burn at all using this umbrella. Some of the park rangers at Animal Kingdom remarked that this is the right kind of umbrella for hot climates & I was the first person they had every seen with one. I highly recommend this jewel. I am still using it now as I live in South Texas. I am still amazed at how well it works.

> 3 dayGenerally, most satisfying. Could be wider, but not a real issue. Only four stars because it doesnt have the push-button retrieve feature that most such umbrellas now have and it takes a serious effort to sock it back in place.

> 3 dayI love this umbrella when it’s raining or if I don’t want to wear a hat on a sunny day. The vents let the breeze pass through, making the umbrella easier to hold onto. The folding mechanism is sturdy and easy to handle. Definitely recommend!
