The umbrella is quite sturdy and I ( melanoma survivor) trust effective against UV rays. Im sure people watching me walk around with it on rainless days must think Im a bit dotty, but hopefully Im at the vanguard of a movement to use anti-UV umbrellas in this time of deadly climate change.

I love having this umbrella. I always have it in my car, i take it with me on trips or to amusement parks so if we’re stuck in the sun we can get some relief! I love the fact that it blocks out all UV Rays! I highly recommend this to anyone especially if you’ve had skin cancer or have small children! We want to keep their skin protected as much as possible l!

I love this umbrella when it’s raining or if I don’t want to wear a hat on a sunny day. The vents let the breeze pass through, making the umbrella easier to hold onto. The folding mechanism is sturdy and easy to handle. Definitely recommend!

Best Purchase Ive made to protect myself from the Sun. I have Skin Cancer, (Both kinds), fortunately Ive been able to get all spots removed, but its still very important to protect myself. I hate Sun Block so the UV-BLOCKER Umbrella was my answer Ive been looking to. Its attractive looking, and easy to use. Its just as description from Seller. Im not a big shopper on-line, but I was very pleased with the prompt response from the Seller. I received it package well. Well protected in box. Quit delivery. I was very impressed. I would buy again from this Seller without any fears or hesitation. Even if you dont have a Skin condition, you should protect yourself. Its also an excellent Color. People can see its not just an Umbrella. I carry it with me & use it always. Very pleased with the Seller & product.

I was skeptical that the umbrella shielded the bearer from the sun such that it is cooler by 15 degrees under the umbrella. While I didn’t check with a thermometer, this certainly felt true. The umbrella blocks the sun very well and the only drawback is that it is so sturdily built it is almost too heavy and large to be a travel umbrella. I am planning on buying more.

I really like this and although I thought it was a little pricey it is definitely worth the price.

It does what it says: protects you from the sun. It feels like Im carrying around my own personal tree: nice shade, a bit cooler underneath. The only odd thing is the closing mechanism is a bit stiff. With some umbrellas, you can push it up against a wall to help you close it. This one doesnt work that way. You have to pull it towards you to close it, and its a little hard. I have to use two hands. Its a great umbrella, though. It opens easily, offers great protection and is compact. Id recommend it.

Did a heat test on a 95° day. From underneath the UV Blocker temp was 105° the standard black Umbrella was 142° these temperatures were read after Umbrellas sat in sun for 15 minutes. Dropped 1 star because mechanism in handles need to be built out of something other than plastic. 2 Umbrellas broke after only a couple of months of use.

Having previously owned a uv ray blocking umbrella from the Breast Cancer Association (that I lost somewhere), I found this umbrella while looking to replace the other. The price was a bit formidable (had to talk myself into buying it) but now that I use it, I find it is definitely a good value for the money. My other umbrella was flimsy compared to this one. This has substantial weight to it and requires a good grip. As others have said, the handle is a bit awkward. But...despite that, I love this umbrella! I like that it has the Melanoma Association approval, a really dependable testimony to the effectiveness of the uv ray blocker. Having an illness that is exacerbated by uv rays, I feel that endorsement gives me confidence the product will work as advertised. Other umbrellas sold on Amazon just say they have uv protection, but with this umbrella, I have no doubt. The claim that it reduces the heat under the canopy by 15 degrees seems plausible to me. I really love the cover with the carrying ropes; it comes in handy. If you are looking for a genuine uv blocking umbrella that is sturdy and delivers what is promised, this is the umbrella you should buy.
