> 3 dayI’m a PE teacher and I can’t stand in the sun all day. Once the kids know what to do I can walk around with this, so I’m not frying all day outside with no shade. It totally block sun and is a great size but it is heavier than I thought. Still worth it though.

> 3 dayVery well package, seemingly well constructed product. Has embroidered logo on both the case & the umbrella itself. The addition of a shoulder strap to the case is nice because it’s definitely got some weight to it for a “travel” umbrella. It weighs more than twice as much as my standard travel umbrellas, and is bulkier both length and width wise. I did not find it any harder to open and close than any other umbrellas I’ve had, both functions were smooth. As far as shade and sun protection - I tried it out in the Phoenix sun on a 110 degree day in July and it does help, but I would say that making it 15 degrees cooler underneath is an exaggeration. It did seem more effective at absorbing/reflecting the baking heat than my standard umbrella that I was using for comparison, but for the $50 price tag - I should hope so, not as much difference as I’d expected though. I hope it holds up well over time to justify the price tag, because there were more affordable options, but seemed like they may be less durable from reviews.

> 3 dayThis is the absolute perfect umbrella for blocking out the sun. I take it everywhere and it has a nice cover with a shoulder strap for carrying indoors. The handle does not cramp up my hand when holding it on our long walks - talking 10K steps. I like the plastic covers on the metal spines, so there is no danger of poking anyone. People stop me all the time asking where I got this. This umbrella also handles well in the wind. We get a lot of sun here in Phoenix so I am looking forward to using it this summer. It is cooler under the umbrella too. I really like the fact that Im not wearing hats anymore - leaving me all sweaty with hat hair. I have used it every day since my purchase and it is now my constant outside companion.

> 3 dayThis sun umbrella appears to be keeping the sun off me. I use it when I take long walks and no matter how strong the sun, I never get a burn. I highly recommend it. But after a while, maybe six months or less the protective coating wears off and you need to get a new, but it is worth the price

> 3 dayA great umbrella! I bought this for our family trip to Disneyland when I found it was going to be triple digits there. It was like carrying around my own portable shade. It was very windy when I was there and I had no issues with it blowing inside-out like some people experienced. To maximize the cooling effect I wore a Frogg Togg cooling cloth as well. It is heavier than I expected and the handle feels a little awkward so I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

Greater than one weekI recently ordered and received this umbrella in only 2 days time. I used it twice on long hikes in the hot Arizona sun. It was fantastic! Its large enough to provide plenty of shade and kept me much cooler, as others have said. I couldnt believe it would make such a difference in shade from the sun. Im a fair skinned redhead. I will get a lot of use from this umbrella.

> 3 dayMust have for blocking sun. Slightly bulkier then a standard umbrella but blocks the sun perfectly. Provides a good amount of shade for 1-2 people.
