> 3 dayTook this on a trip to Disney World in August, it was HOT... I dont do well in the heat. It certainly saved me from baking to death in the sun. Dont get me wrong, it was still hot, but I was able to find relief in the shade this baby provided. Also, my fair skin did not get sunburned. The only thing I would change is that this is a bit heavy so it did get a little tiresome to carry all day. However, the wrist strap did help somewhat. Its sturdy and operated perfectly each and everyone of the 100 times I opened and closed it that trip. I would recommend this umbrella to everyone!

> 3 dayThe handle is too short and it hits my head all the time. The shade capacity of the umbrella is okay but not as good as some of my regular umbrellas. I love the cool factor and I am looking for a larger umbrella. When you have one tall enough it can even cover your legs, not just you head. It is so much cooler under it then in the sun.

> 3 daythis UV-Blocker Umbrella arrived right on time for summer - i had a skin cancer taken off the top of my head a number of years ago; my hair is quite thin; and i know i am supposed to avoid the sun . . . so what is a body to do when its time to walk the dog? I am so glad i ordered this space-age looking (silver) parasol to protect me from those harmful rays. It is my summer security blanket, and i am grateful to have it. It does not pay to take chances with your skin, especially when you can walk cooler - yes! it feels cooler walking beneath it - and you know you are protected from the sun. Great product - glad i stumbled upon it at Amazon!

Greater than one weekI used this umbrella at my granddaughters high school graduation and got there early to sit at the top of the bleachers so not to block anyones view. My family always teases me and especially when they arrived and saw my umbrella up. They had a great time laughing. Before the event started I had two different strangers come up to feel the difference from their regular sun umbrella to my UV-Blocker umbrella and you could feel the difference. I was also surprised to see all the regular umbrellas going up and not even sun umbrellas. Im glad I came prepared with sun block on and this umbrella. It protected and kept me cool from the heat of the direct sun.

> 3 dayThis is a well-made umbrella that is lightweight and easy to open and close. Here in Hawaii, where the UV index regularly passes 10, the sun is strong and hot. This umbrella not only is blocking UV, it also keeps me much cooler when walking around on a sunny day. Very satisfied with this purchase!

Greater than one weekThe umbrella is of excellent quality and gives good sun protection. On hot sunny days it feels a few degrees cooler under the umbrella. It provides good sun protection. The only reason I returned the umbrella was to buy the smaller size. I had hand surgery a few months ago and found the umbrella a bit heavy to carry. I love the smaller size because its more practical for me and provides enough coverage.

> 3 dayI’m pretty happy with this umbrella. It is definitely superior sun protection and it keeps me cool during very hot days. However, I am not satisfied with the closing mechanism. Yes, this is push activated but only to open. To close, you have to pull the neck down and it doesn’t always catch. It can be cumbersome and nuisance. Other then that I am pleased with this umbrella. It is sturdy and does well in the wind for the most part.

Greater than one weekI really love this UV blocker and, in a way, it’s difficult to describe what it does in simplistic terms on paper. In bright high-UV sunlight, the UV blocker blocks out the radiant heat/UV rays. With an inexpensive sun shade, while it blocks out some of the bright light, you can still feel the radiant heat on your skin as UV rays can still penetrate the material. Conversely, the UV blocker is akin to standing under a shady overhang while the intense sun’s UV rays beats down from above. You no longer feel that radiant heat on your skin while under the UV blocker and, while the UV blocker is a bit heavier than a $10.00 sun shade, it does do what it was designed for.

Greater than one weekThis was called a travel umbrella, I guess because it has a cover that can be slung on your shoulder by a strap? It is HEAVY. I live in the desert, I need a sun blocker when I walk my dog. After 30 minutes of holding this my hand/arm were very fatigued. It is way too big and way too heavy for a brisk 30 minute walk. I did jot want to buy the smaller umbrella because it had a really cheesy handle. An expensive blunder of a purchase. It did block the sun but impossibly heavy. Not for daily dog walking.

> 3 dayWorked great to keep us cooler during outside, Key Largo, wedding in early August.
