> 24 hourI love this and use it for my xbox and ps4, my only gripe is it only has 1.8 T if you get the 2 T option, not sure why this is but product is great.

> 24 hourIm using this drive to store all my customers graphic design work on. The only thing thats been a problem is ejecting it. Its actually a big problem because everytime I want to unplug it, I have to turn off my laptop. Not very convenient. Ive done some research and Im not sure if its a problem with the drive or my computer. In any case, its a pain. Thats why I gave it 3 stars.

> 24 hourThis is one of the BEST digital drives Ive seen. Its compact and super easy to set up and use. There are more included extra features than most. I cant say that I could find even one thing I didnt like about it. I would highly recommended product.

> 24 hourI have several of the older passports and I love them. This one does indeed feel cheaply made compared to the older ones. Some said theirs arrived DOA, mine arrived just fine. I will update in 3mos as several have also said theirs crapped out after 3mos. My older passports are well over 5yrs old and Ive had zero problems with them. Hoping the same will be the case with these new ones. Update: I purchased this in 2017. Drive is still working for me. I only remembered to update my review because I need to get more lol

> 24 hourI bought this after my Seagate quit working. Hands down, the WD is clearly superior in every way. Cheaper, faster and most of all, very easy to use and understand. Super quite and compact. Able to be transported only if really needed to be, but I bought the Lacdo EVA shockproof carrying case. That is a must have with this external Hard Drive. I love it.

> 24 hourIve been using WD drives for backkups for years. These dont disappoint. My only beef is an ergonomic one - the squared off shape in this generation is a bit of a tight fit in the Amazon Basics cases. They do fit however.

> 24 hourUpdate as of 9/11/17: Got it less than 5 months ago. Today, I noticed that it had not backed up in 2 weeks. Tried Backup Now and nothing happened. Cant access Settings. Software no longer works so no longer backs up. Total junk. Dont waste your money on WD. Buy a Seagate. Had a Seagate drive for my Win 7 laptop and never had this problem in the 5 years I owned it. Easy to install. Problem is finding your stuff. Western Digital unnecessarily buries your files in a maze of subdirectories, the first of which is not at all intuitive, especially for non-geeks. When I first looked at the directory for this drive I thought, so where is my stuff? My old Seagate external drive shares this problem. Both companies need to realize their customers are all not computer geeks. Definitely not user friendly. My spouse would never be able to locate our files on this drive.

> 24 hourStandard 2TB storage drive for a pretty good price. The WD software it comes with is totally optional; I reformatted the drive upon arrival. I havent used it for long enough for it to fail, but it seems that most HDDs by WD, Seagate, etc. are about the same in terms of reliability. The MyPassport is pretty slim, but not exactly pocket-sized (approx. 3.25 x 4.25 x 0.75 or 8 cm x 11 cm x 2 cm). Read/write speeds are average for a USB drive.

> 24 hourFast and small backup drive. The software will not load with Windows 10. I spent an hour on the phone with WD support (in India). The first tech tried to down load the WD Backup software. It would NOT load properly. He transferred to an expert tech. He was able to load the software and clear all the errors the software load put in the program. It now works properly. Be prepared to spend an hour with WD support!

> 24 hourI bought this to backup my Mac and pictures...probably more space thanIll ever need but the 2TB didnt cost much more than the 1TB so why not? Its smaller than I thought it would be which is great! Disk utility was giving me issues with the error MediaKit reports not enough space on device for requested operation. Im pretty good with computers but am by no means techie. I searched WD Passport reformat Mac MediaKit reports not enough space on device for requested operation and found a tutorial that worked perfectly...it was not as easy as disk utility but it worked so Im not complaining.
