> 24 hourI used Webroot for several years and trusted it completely. It constantly works in the background and you never really know its there. When renewal time came, it always tried to get me to auto-renew for $79.00 per year! Instead I turned off auto-renew and went to Amazon and bought a package for $39.00 every year, and that worked perfect until this year. I couldnt get a pass code that would work from Amazon. Amazon said it was a Webroot issue and Webroot said it was an Amazon issue... I was NEVER able to get it worked out so I bought another package. This new package immediately found a virus on my phone! It wasnt just a virus, it was a keylogger, so I dont know how long my every key stroke was being recorded and sent to who knows who! I cannot recommend Webrood based on the active virus it missed and the fact that I could not get my renewal ussue worked out.

> 24 hourThought I could just enter new keycode and that would be it. I had to totally uninstall the previous webroot before I could use this disk. Was a pain in the ass! But now that its installed all works just as before. Dont know if saving $12 was worth the frustration.

> 24 hourWow. Im 70 and no computer guru. I have 2 laptops ( 1 windows 7, 1 windows 10), 1 XP tower and an Android tablet. I expected to have a fit just getting the Webroot to run and DUH..no. Once you get the first computer to accept (windows 10 in my case), this was so simple it was amazing. Really pleased with this so far. Webroot states it has security for all these computers. Im about to find out. If this does not work out well, yall will be the first to know, but so far, so good. This is a one year contract and for what it covers, I find it extremely reasonable. I bought the disk as I prefer that to downloading. I had Bitdefender on my computers and they installed it (didnt support XP or Android). Cost me a fortune for a 3 year contract for 2 computers and allowed a virus in on the windows 10 that literally destroyed everything. I had to replace the hard-drive . I expect much better results from Webroot.

> 24 hourRenewed my security service nice and easy after confirming I had got the right one .Emailed me quickly that they renew with any new code dispite the box cover difference. Only thing is dont renew till you get really close to end day because I lost 2weeks off mine for adding it too soon. Love this security software theyve kept me safe for over 5 years and I tried many other security software that didnt work well.

> 24 hourI switched the home machines after over a decade from Norton to Webroot and it seems to work fine. We had web performance issues with Norton over the past 2 or 3 years so I switched to this product. It seems our performance is a bit better than under Norton and I like the five pack. I never liked McAfee, even when it came for free on computers and Im not trusting my internet security to a company based in Moscow (Kaspersky).

> 24 hourI checked reviews from the top rated security programs and this one rated the highest. I have only had it a short time but it seems to be working real good. I got the one that secures 5 devices because I have many devices that needed it, i.e. laptop, desktop, phone, tablet, etc. so it was nice that it covered everything. The only annoying thing was it kept notifying me on my phone that I had security, but I put it in the background so it wasnt showing up all the time. I prefer it to work in the background. Other than that I have had no problems with it.

> 24 hourI purchased this software on October 20, i.e. a bit more than a month ago. When I first installed the software, I had specifically formatted my hard disk to assure that Id install the security software on a clean hard disk. While the installation of Webroot proved to be easy and quick, I sensed that my browser(s) was loading dreadfully slowly. Analog phone-line pace. Customarily I only use one browser, but I installed a couple of different ones in an attempt to determine whether the slow loading was browser-specific. It made no difference. I contacted the developer and received a brief answer after a few days (Id hate to have an emergency): uninstall and reinstall. Initially, that simple instruction worked. Now, a couple of weeks later, Im back to the slow-loading of the browsers. To be transparent, I run Windows 7 Ultra and have only productivity software (MS Office 2010) installed on my computer. No games, no pictures, no music. At this point, Im annoyed with the security software; while it has kept my computer safe, it slows me down tremendously in my work. The period to return the software has expired. Moreover, I note that Amazon is now selling the same precise version for $22.00 less than I paid in October. Not pleased about that either. I will in likelihood return to the new version of the security software I used in previous years. This experiment has failed.

> 24 hour(Update Below) Wish I saw this on youtube before I bought this program. Web-Root Secure Anywhere Review (Removal & Zero-Day) by DehHaxor4evr. It was easy to install. It found about 150 problems/viruses/malware on my computer after the Iolo Mechanic Pro. (We dont use the Iolo for virus, but maintain the computer in other ways, but we ran it first and it only found 7 viruses). After we saw the review video above on Webroot. we found out about Malware-bytes. We bought it, and it arrived on same day that web root did. After web root ran the computer, Malware-bytes found almost 600 malware/virus/problems. This was right after webroot, and it was installed. We left web root on the computer, due to Malware-byte runs with other virus programs. Figure already bought it, and cant hurt to have two programs protecting the computer. But we probably wont renew it when the year runs out. Renewal time. They want $79 for first year of renewal, and $50 for 2nd year. If you contact them on their web site it states must accept Cookies a security program that wants cookies be allowed. It did allow my note be submitted w/o allowing the cookies. But why ask? We will be deleting this program, and keeping Malwarebytes, which is a much better program. Several times a day this program has been putting up Need to renew soon links on the screen. Bye Bye program. Removing soon. We changed it from 2 star to 1 star. I had sent an email to them to find out why no deal for renewal for loyal customers. Got a Reply (That I could not reply to) that said the email was a system automatic and it did not know of deals, and need to call to get a deal. This is hoping most customers will just pay the price, next it was not an email, but the program itself giving a link, then ph calls to get a deal? That is Phishing in a way to get you to call and get a hard sell. This is the first software company that does not give a proper link to a good deal for renewal in the last couple years of programs that I have updated. Malwarebytes was 1/2 price for renewal, and does everything and more than this program does, and Malwarebytes is not identified by this program as a 2nd security program.

> 24 hourI did not get paid nor did I receive a discounted price or free product for this review. I purchased this product because I was in need of some additional protection on my laptop. I read many various reviews and I ran into webroot. I was attracted by their price point, the length of the subscription and the ability to protect 5 different devices. I personally only use it for 2 devices currently- two laptops. I believe there is also an app that you can download for your phone. I tried it and it wasnt what I expected; to my knowledge its simply a secure browser. I dont find much use for that, I prefer using bing personally. So that was a slight con. Aside from that, this product has been great so far. It has protected me against quite a few issues. It is very responsive. It is easy to scan your computer and it is quite quick. On one of the laptops, there were MANY known issues (detected from my previous software) and this was able to clear that up for the most part. All in all a very good product for the price. I recommend it.

> 24 hourUnfortunately this is not getting all the issues. I have malware on my computer that continues to open the internet over and over and using up 99% of the processing locking it up. I now have to seek a professional to take care of the problem
