> 3 dayIve used Webroot for several years. It scans quickly without hogging all my computer resources. I think the value is excellent (I usually buy the 5 license package). I never renew the license because it is always less expensive to buy a new license number every year. I only have to update the license number in the software, no need to uninstall and reinstall.

> 3 dayRenewed my security service nice and easy after confirming I had got the right one .Emailed me quickly that they renew with any new code dispite the box cover difference. Only thing is dont renew till you get really close to end day because I lost 2weeks off mine for adding it too soon. Love this security software theyve kept me safe for over 5 years and I tried many other security software that didnt work well.

> 3 dayIve had Webroot installed for about 6 weeks now. This replaced Kaspersky Total Security. I run Windows 10 Home on an older Dell laptop. I can only presume Webroot is doing what it says it is. It runs a scan every day in the background and it is hardly noticeable. Kaspersky used all but freeze my system for hours. Task manager would show 100% disk or 98% CPU usage. Kaspersky would run a rootkit scan and a quick scan at least once a day, One complaint I have about webroot is there are no logs or reports (that Ive been able to find thus far) to review its activity. Im very pleased with how my system is running. I spent a couple days reading reviews on various packages and this seemed highly rated.

> 3 dayI purchased this software on October 20, i.e. a bit more than a month ago. When I first installed the software, I had specifically formatted my hard disk to assure that Id install the security software on a clean hard disk. While the installation of Webroot proved to be easy and quick, I sensed that my browser(s) was loading dreadfully slowly. Analog phone-line pace. Customarily I only use one browser, but I installed a couple of different ones in an attempt to determine whether the slow loading was browser-specific. It made no difference. I contacted the developer and received a brief answer after a few days (Id hate to have an emergency): uninstall and reinstall. Initially, that simple instruction worked. Now, a couple of weeks later, Im back to the slow-loading of the browsers. To be transparent, I run Windows 7 Ultra and have only productivity software (MS Office 2010) installed on my computer. No games, no pictures, no music. At this point, Im annoyed with the security software; while it has kept my computer safe, it slows me down tremendously in my work. The period to return the software has expired. Moreover, I note that Amazon is now selling the same precise version for $22.00 less than I paid in October. Not pleased about that either. I will in likelihood return to the new version of the security software I used in previous years. This experiment has failed.

> 3 dayDelivery of the order was completed in a timely manner. I have used the program for over four years and found this latest version to be as good as the first time I used it.The scans are fast, the footprint of the program is small and doesnt gobble up a lot of disc space.Threat detection is quick and effective as is the virus removal process. The virus definitions file is in thecloud so they are always up to date. That feature is is a big plus for folks who forget to update before scanning for viruses or are not very computer oriented. My 93 year old father in law loves it.For those who want to be more technical you can customize the scan and protection settings rather than use the default settings.

> 3 dayI have used many security software brands and have been let down throuugh most. I found this one last year after having purchased another brand only two months before, that was supposed to be the best, only to have my computer compromised to the extent it had to have my computer guy take it for a couple of days. This was an expensive experience. Im happy to say Webroot has been a very reliable software that I will keep. That other brand BTW had rave reviews from many sources. It took no time to invade.

> 3 dayWorks well. Been using it for two years. No virus infection and trojan intrusions and it is intrusive and does not take up too much space compared with other shields.

> 3 dayIve used Webroot previously and was pleased, but after reading stellar reviews of Bitdefender I decided to give it a try. BIG MISTAKE!!! Bitdefender caused daily blue screen abends on both of my Windows 7 machines and would not download at all on my Windows 8 machine. Emails to tech support only resulted in a generic reply. Thankfully I was able to uninstall it and bought a new copy of Webroot. Its a great program in every way. Installation and setup was a breeze and no more system abends! I know better than to look elsewhere in the future. Thanks Webroot team!

> 3 dayHave used Webroot Security for three years and have been very satisfied. It doesnt pick up malware as well as Malwarebytes software, but my previous security software suite also came in second place compared to Malwarebytes. The customer support with Webroot is excellent, in part because you are speaking with tech people in the US who can speak native English and are not reading to you from a manual.
