First I liked the price--upgraded to best package for a lot less than webroot would renew the package I had been using. Webroot offended me with their aggressive renew threats where they tried to force me to renew or uninstall before my subscription was out. It was relatively easy to uninstall and install new program on win7 and even easier on win10.

I used the top 2 most popular brands in the past and when my subscription ended for this last company, I decided to try Webroot. My sister has been saying how great it is for years. But I was apprehensive about changing. Boy and I glad I did. It was trivial to install and now my computer comes on so much faster. The scans are faster as well. There are only 2 things I wish were different. One is that the little safe web icons (green check marks) do not appear for Firefox browser. Or at least I was unable to find an add-on extension that would allow it. I do have it on Chrome though. So I do my web searches on Chrome now. Also, I lost a feature from my prior software that had a safe money feature for when I signed onto my bank and investment accounts or used my credit card for a purchase. But Im not even sure what that feature was. So for all I know, it didnt do anything more than Webroot does. Anyway, Im very happy with this change. Only time will tell if I get annoying reminders to renew online toward the end of my subscription. I dont like doing that because the price is always higher that way. I prefer to buy it on Amazon each year to get the best price. That said, it would be nice if the renewal price was competitive with the new purchase price so I didnt have to go through that effort.

Powerful threat finder but doesnt do well on Time Machine back ups. Will find threats on backup drive but cant remove them. It seems that all the popular Virus remover software have the same limitations with Time Machine. The big negative for me is that you cant select a single attached drive to scan. The choice is to scan everything including all the attached drives or just scan the main drive. I would like the ability, like some other virus software, even free virus software, to scan individual drives or individual folders or directories or even individual files.

I love the Webroot product overall. It would def get a 5 except that customer service cant get it working on my iPhone. Also, because I have more than 5 devices it wont integrate into a single account. Not happy about that and wish that all subscriptions could be on one dashboard. But this product does not slow my computer down and does a good job of protecting it. Plus it doesnt try to constantly download other products. For that even though this is a 4 for some things that we cant get working I must say that as a security product it is AMAZING!

Installed this program today. The installation was easy. I am impressed with the security that the program offers. Significantly easier and faster than other programs I have used. So far, I am very, very pleased with the installation. I found this program while scanning Amazons website. Initially, I was reluctant to try it. Frankly, I never knew that this program existed. I would definitely recommend it.

Ive used Webroot since about 2008 and am very pleased with it. The scans run very quickly and very accurately. I think I actually only ever had one real problem and that was a couple of years ago. Webroot support helped me through it and was able to get my pc back running. I like this version for the multiple device usage. And I use a version on my tablet as well. The only thing I didnt like was their pricing. It was cheaper to buy this hear, wait until my current subscription was about to run out and then update the new keycode and wha-la, I have another year of coverage. And again, I bought it this year (2016) here vs. directly renewing from them because of the price.

Easy to install and, so far, works just like its supposed to. It has a very small footprint on the computer, and Ive had no software conflicts.

It has received multiple awards from PC Mag over the past several years, and it only takes up about a megabyte of space on your hard drive. The virus definitions are stored in the Cloud, and it runs fairly fast on processors like Pentium and Celeron, and wickedly fast on those processors that end with a K (like 4930K). It will locate keyloggers, and bots with ease, and malware doesnt stand a chance. Do yourself a favor and buy Webroot Antivirus, as you cannot go wrong.

Ive had Webroot installed for about 6 weeks now. This replaced Kaspersky Total Security. I run Windows 10 Home on an older Dell laptop. I can only presume Webroot is doing what it says it is. It runs a scan every day in the background and it is hardly noticeable. Kaspersky used all but freeze my system for hours. Task manager would show 100% disk or 98% CPU usage. Kaspersky would run a rootkit scan and a quick scan at least once a day, One complaint I have about webroot is there are no logs or reports (that Ive been able to find thus far) to review its activity. Im very pleased with how my system is running. I spent a couple days reading reviews on various packages and this seemed highly rated.
