Purchased these to remotely power cycle up wireless cams and these work perfectly. We had a power outage and turning the power strip off in the house made the wireless ip cam to refresh the ip. Turning the strip off, then back on, resets the connection then the wireless ip cameras come back on line!

I have 4 of these in my house right now. Love them!!! Some people said they could t get them connected, but i had no issue with 3 of them. The other one I learned why it wouldn’t connect. My new router sends out a reg signal and a 5g signal. It won’t connect to 5g, but is fine now. Have had them going for a month now with no issues. So freakin great!!!

I have eight of these smart outlets and just ordered two more. The voice control works great with my Amazon Echo Dots. I also have them working with my Google Home. I havent had any problems with any of them so far. Besides using voice control, the Smart Life app works very well when at a remote location with internet access.. I use three of them to control lamps, one to turn my work bench power on/off, one to turn my electric blanket on before I go to bed, one controls a battery charger, one powers a computer monitor on/off and the last one turns on/off a foot heating pad under my desk. (Dont have to crawl under the desk anymore to turn it on or off). Love the voice control with Alexa. A few minutes before I go to bed at night, I just say Computer, turn on electric blanket. I use the wake-up word Computer instead of Alexa. I highly recommend these cool gadgets. :) Six months later - I now have 10 of these smart outlets and havent had any problems with any of them. All are still working fine. Im still using Echo Dots and a Echo Show to control them and can even do it from my car while driving. I plan on buying a couple more. Great product! EDIT: (12/09/18). Purchased a few more and now have 18. All have worked well and none have failed.

They cost much less and work just as easy as others on the market. No need to spend a ton of money on other brands.

I need to return my two smart plugs. Both wont allow me to set up the sunset and sunrise times for on and off. It keeps reverting back to the 15 minute timer. Also, even when I try to use the light without any settings such as the timer, etc., the light simply turns itself off at random times. This does this even if I simple turn on the light using no other functions. I would like to return these, but I dont know how to do it. I didnt put the plugs into service for a month or so after they arrived so I apparently went over the window for returns. I would like the seller to contact me to work something out. I will change the star rating to 5 if the return process works well. Thank You.

I love these plugs. I realize that sometimes an electronic device may not work correctly and anything will have a bad review from time to time, but these are legit. Be patient setting up and read first and they will connect just fine. The app is awesome and then enable alexa and your golden. I have many of these in my house and they are all on a schedule, plus the app will override whenever you want from anywhere, and then when you home just ask your device to turn on or off and it is pretty sweet. On a few of these I have plugged in more than one thing as well and still have no trouble.

Works exactly as advertised. Easy to set up. Best price I can find at the moment for such devices. Great product to get you started in home automation. Integrates easily with Alexa. But...note if you want to do more advanced programming of the smart plug (eg. If a sensor triggers, then turn on this smart plug) i have yet to find a way to do so. You will need a hub (eg. SmartThings by Samsung) that will allow it to be integrated with other devices. But, for basic functions, no hub required. Note also, two of these devices will not fit on one wall receptacle...that might not be a big deal however.

Not compatible with 5 GHz, but works great on 2.4.

I bought these as a gift for a friend. When I tried to set them up, I found that his Spectrum-installed router had assigned the exact same name to both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi bands. for some reason, the band selected always defaults to the 5GHz. I was unable to find a way around the issue. I kept them, and they work perfectly on 2.4GHz at my home.

They work well. Love being able to tell Alexa to turn the lights on and off. The app allows one to control the lights from anywhere. Timers can also be set up. I will be buying more.
