> 3 dayThese seem to be a good value and were easy to set up. They have worked flawlessly for the few days I have had them. I do not use Alexa but control them with the iOS app, which also includes voice control. I noticed a lag in response when using voice control but only a few seconds delay. I will be interested to see how these work after a power outage, and how long they will last. The app could use a bit of polish and documentation is spotty, but the devices were easy and fast to set up and use.

> 3 dayThey work great as long as they are close enough to the WiFi. The lighting that was attached kept cutting off at random intervals. The only solution was to move the WiFi router closer to where I was using the Smart Plugs, no easy task but it worked.

> 3 dayWas able to set it up and get them working with the app, also added it to google assistant pretty easily for voice control from my phone. Initial set up seems normal, download random app, sign up based on cell phone number. The main difference between others was that the app they required actually worked.

> 3 dayI thought these would be great to put on light switches, no more coming home to dark house and when matched with Echo dot I can turn on lights if they are out by just telling Alexa when I walk downstairs or in the front door. Not to mention having them on making (hopefully) people think someone is at home. Unfortunately the one keeps turning off whenever it decides to and sometimes have to tell Alexa to turn it on more than once before it comes on. I provided feedback thru the app hoping for either a hardware update or a well replace it but I have heard nothing. I have 2 and so far I havent noticed a problem with the other one but it isnt used as much.

> 3 dayWorks as stated, wish I could use these to dim, but on/off is just fine as well Can not give 5 stars due to the fact this item blocks the other outlet on the wall.

> 3 dayBest Plug ever. I bought these to control The lights in my house. They work amazing Theyre actually probably making me Lazy But I dont care Because its so cool To be able To just say Alexa Turn off The light And the light turns off. They were very easy To set up And install I definitely recommend them As part of your smart home setup.

Greater than one weekWorks OK so far, but this device worries me from a security point of view. Cheap but scary. I disabled all the Android Smart Life apps permissions in Settings->Apps after configuring the device. Why did the app literally need every permission known to man on my Android phone to simply configure the device? What REALLY worries me is the amount of data the device moves to/from The Cloud---constantly. Is it eavesdropping on my local LAN traffic? Or, is it a Trojan Horse waiting for instructions from hackers lurking in the shadows in another country? Over the last 7 days the device downloaded 18 Mbytes and uploaded 135 MBytes of data (see photo)! More than a bit worrisome. The rate has slowed down to ~120 Kbyte/6 MBytes down/up per 24 hour period over the last few days, but what possibly can be going on? I dont want a rogue IOT device in my house participating in botnet shenanigans!

29-03-2025In order to use this device, you have to download yet another app called Smart Life, set up the plug and then add it to the Alexa skills. I have not been able to figure out how to turn on the fan for 6 hours in the laundry room. I can turn it on but not schedule it to turn it off. The app is in very MVP mode. When you click on many of the buttons you get this is for demo only message. Hopefully they are counting clicks to see where people are looking to use the app.

> 3 dayGot two before. It’s good and easy to install. Then change another brand. Returned. Not working. Finally, got two more of this timer. I use it for my living room light timer and aquarium uv light timer.

Greater than one weekThese work great and the software that controls them works great with my iPhone. You can set up to 720 on/off cycles per day ((24 hrs/day * 60 minutes per hour) / 2 for on/off) with the same setting for each day or different settings for different days. I use it as a security light to randomly turn on and off the lights through the night. It also interfaces with my Alexa, thus giving me the option to manually control the plugs from either my iPhone or from Alexa. Setting it up is easy, although there is no documentation that states it only interfaces with 2.4GHz wifi networks. I initially tried setting it up with my 5GHz, but it only gave me frustration. Once I figured out to use the 2.4, everything went great.
