WiOn 50055 Indoor Wi-Fi Plug-In USB Wall Tap; 1 Grounded Outlet; 2 USB Ports

I bought this years ago and was able to do the setup without issues. It worked fine. Every once in a while will have an issue with the app but seems like they have been doing some improvements on it. A couple of weeks ago got a new router so had to reconnect this and my other WiOn switches. Was not able to connect them to my Wifi at the time. It looked like they were not supported anymore so I unplugged them. Today was looking online and decided to give them a try. They connected pretty easy. Actually the setup was much easier than what I recall originally. Not sure what has changed from a month ago to today. The app seems to be working better than before. It worked so well that I went ahead and bought a couple more since they are a lot cheaper now than when I originally bought them back in 2016.

I have a Wion at another house and it works fine, however this one would not connect to the wifi. I returned it.

I love these. Easy to set up and program timers work very well. I see they now sell them at Lowe’s, Menards, and Home Depot.

So far so good. Works like a champ: Programmed a hot water recirculating pump for morning and evening. It can also be turned ON/OFF via the App. Well done!

I like these a lot however both usb plugs failed immediatley on first one, a replaement was sent and it has worked good so far but usb plugs still seem cheap, also all the wion units are difficult to connect to echo some of mine connected right away most will not connect at all and I own seven outlets. Great priduct but needs improvement.

Easy to install - easy to use - works as advertised

I use this as a timer for my Diesel truck. I have this set to automatically kick on few hours before I leave for work. Setup was pretty straight forward. Once its set you can forget about it unless you need to make changes. Support for this product seems to be a little difficult so far. I cannot find a number, the woods website is pretty basic with email only option - So i have done this so we will see how the support is! The timer no longer shows up in the App. I cannot get it to connect anymore :( People have to realize that this type of thing happens! No item is perfect, things happen! The product does work like a charm, but I unfortunately need a replacement, or some instructions Update 12/6 - Still no support even though product is under warranty. I have submitted many emails. Beware! Poor support, otherwise good product when it works! Thanks

Easy to setup. Takes me 5mins if that. Just plugin, search for new wifi signal listed and connect to it with yourphone, open the app to finish setup and your done. Now I can turn on this plug from anywhere in the World.

I have found that when I plug more than one phone into the USB ports, the unit starts turning itself on and off repeatedly until I unplug one of the phones. It cant handle even one iPad before it starts doing this. It also doesnt matter if anything plugged into the 120 Volt outlet is on or off. Not built to sufficient capacity to handle charging of more than one device. I do like the nightlight that comes on and off according to sunrise/sunset times. Thats pretty cool.

The instructions are a mess. It would be funny if it wasnt so frustrating. For example the end of a para says ... proceed to next step to begin the smartphone setup The next step says Once you have finished connecting the WiOn Outlet to a WiFi router... The problem is the instructions for connecting are somewhere else on the page, its out of order.
