    Greater than one week

Hi all with connection issues. Use you 2.4ghz wifi to connect this device. 2.4 gets out farther. Not a lot of data so 5ghz is not necessary. I have several of these devices and work fine indoors and out. One is even mounted inside a metal timer box!

Works great and I really like the USB plug light that you can program to turn on at night.

Had problems with the final step of setting up the device. When entering the password, I would get an error message. 1st time I contacted customer service they had a tech call me. Once on with tech he did not have me run through the set up again are or check to make sure I was inputting information correctly. The tech went right into a script of telling me that my computer was corrupt and they needed to run diagnostics on it. For around $200. He said my fire wall on my system had too many intruder attempts from my gaming, social media and porn habits. He insisted this was the problem and he needed access to my computer. I hung up. I don’t own a computer. I have an iPad and an iPhone I run the app. After trying to self diagnose and googling possible problems with it, I recontacted tech. After taking my info they told me they would have a technician call me. I asked if it was free service to have tech work with me and they answered yes. Then I mentioned the last experience that they tried to sell me a service at about $200. And they text chat ended and disappeared. After playing with the WiON smart plugs a bit more I figured out that I needed to copy my password from my router page and paste in the box on my WiON app set up page. And not type it in. For some reason that was the issue. The plugs work great. I am concerned about WiONs costumer service ethics.

Own over a dozen of these. Work great. Android app could do with updates and additional interfaces, like Alexa.

Bought several of these. spent hours trying to get them to finally work. Then switched phone to IPhone. They refuse to find my network. I would not consider them again. Application confusing. Why cant companies put a bluetooth module in them that help connect to WIFI? Developer grade F!! my WIon outlet strip gives the same problem The APP in my opinion is horrible.

Pricey but I love it. I use it for my bed warmer. It has a timer function in the app which is very nice. Also cloud access so I can be away from home and operate it.

This switch does exactly what it says.. and no more... Ive got a Vera home automation setup, AND an Amazon Alexa and I assumed Id be able to integrate it with at least one of those, but it turns out, I cannot.. That being said, it was REALLY easy to setup, and so far, its worked 100% reliably. I havent tried to access it from outside my home network, but Ive got it configured to control my christmas tree lights, and it does it quite well, while giving me a local button to override and turn on/off manually, and/or by my iPhone.. Im reserving the one star for the inability to integrate with ANYTHING apparently, but in reality, thats probably not fair, since it never claimed to... I just figured these days, most smart home devices can integrate with SOMETHING over either Zwave or Wifi, and theres no excuse not to support that functionality on this device.. It would be really cool if you could trigger it based on other sensors and events on my other home automation systems.. Maybe someday it will come, or Ill find out by reverse engineering what packet I need to send to control it with my own code..

Was difficult to link to internet. Had to play with it for a long time to figure it out. Once I got it up and running its great. I love being able to turn on a light when out after dark. I love I can set a light for when we go away and its on for what i set it for and not all day and night. I like having different ways to set on the timer.extra usbs available are great.

This WiOn wall timer arrived in good shape and on time. It was easy to sync with my WiFi system and was simple to program. I used it throughout the holiday season without any issues.
