> 3 dayThe app doesn’t work well. Cannot create new account. Noisy click when switch turns on and off.

> 3 dayI bought this wifi switch at home depot for $24.99, and felt compelled to write this review. Best wifi switch on the market. Beats in simplicity and effectiveness all the other you find in the market, including wemo. Connecting to wifi and being seen by my iOS devices was a breeze.

> 3 dayIm skeptical of technology that is new like these wifi outlets. So much can go wrong with connection. So far, its been about 3 weeks and this little sucker is 100 miles away in my cabin and its online ANY time I have needed it. What I LOVE is that I can see if my propane heater is running (drawing current) so that I can safely power it down when I see that its not in burn mode. The timer function is really handy. The only thing I WISH it would do is come back on with the same configuration in a loss of power situation. I had the unit ON and simulated power loss by unplugging the wion from the wall. When I plugged it back in it reconnected to wifi but remained OFF. With all the tech in this, I would think some sort of mem config would be in order.

> 3 dayIve got two of Wions products, this one and the outdoor version too. Timer functions are great but support is non-existent. Could not get either of these to work reliably on 4G or an outside WIFI network e.g. from work. I suddenly had a thought about wifi security having had issues years ago with another product. As soon as I set the 2.4GHz on the router to the least secure (WEP) - bingo, works every time. Not ideal I know but I use 5Ghz for other stuff at home and all I need to do is hide the 2.4GHz SSID for added security. It is not only Wi0n I had this issue with, other smart sockets too, those are now working as well. Hope this helps someone out.

> 3 dayInteresting device, will get another to use in remote locations to cycle radio equipment. I hope they are robust for that critical service. Cool energy monitor feature in this particular model. Nicest thing is now router NAT or port forwarding is needed and works fine on a dynamic public IP as well. The commercial AC power switches require significant router set-up to use them remotely.

> 3 dayI use this as a timer for my Diesel truck. I have this set to automatically kick on few hours before I leave for work. Setup was pretty straight forward. Once its set you can forget about it unless you need to make changes. Support for this product seems to be a little difficult so far. I cannot find a number, the woods website is pretty basic with email only option - So i have done this so we will see how the support is! The timer no longer shows up in the App. I cannot get it to connect anymore :( People have to realize that this type of thing happens! No item is perfect, things happen! The product does work like a charm, but I unfortunately need a replacement, or some instructions Update 12/6 - Still no support even though product is under warranty. I have submitted many emails. Beware! Poor support, otherwise good product when it works! Thanks
