I tried drying this out in the microwave, following the instructions on the bag (1000W = 2 x 6 minutes), and a hole burned in the bag, causing the silica beads to fall out. So now the product is ruined. Otherwise, it seemed to absorb moisture from my car (prior to the failed attempt to dry out the bag).

The bags work well, but you have to check regularly. The first set came apart at the seams, but the vendor replaced once we sent pictures. Did what it said it would.

I use these for my 3D printer filament dry box and I went to reset one of them by microwaving and I thought oh it steams so maybe putting it on a towel will help I was so wrong...it got so hot that it melted and burned the towel and spilled the silica all over my kitchen, I was finding beads for weeks! All in all, the packs work as intended, you just have to be careful when microwaving and either put them directly on the glass turntable or on a glass/ceramic microwave safe plate.

These are fantastic. Using them in a vehicle that leaks a little. These absorb well and dry out is easy in the microwave. Good stuff.

I live in Alaska and my cars both had moisture from my snowy feet to the point of having fogged up windows all the time. I put one of these packets in each car. No more fog!

My car has bad seals on the windows and due to some heavy rain lately some water/moisture has been getting into my car. This also causes moisture build up on the inside windows every day with the cold nights/morning. I normally order Damp-rid containers which do a great job but thought since these were reusable, I would give them a shot. Tested for two weeks, attempted to heat them up as instructions indicated, but i have yet to see an improvement on my problem. From what i can tell, they dont absorb any moisture at all. Im giving two stars purely because I received the product and they are decent build quality. Other than that, im going back to my damp-rid. Will not buy again, wish i could get my money back.

Was looking for something to keep my car windows from fogging up and the two pack has worked for it! I put on in back seat and one in front (on dash in winter when I am not using it) and it has helped a lot. I haven’t put it in microwave yet as days are hot enough it can sit in my car and dry out (another bonus)!

I cannot evaluate this product for its efficiency. It and one other,were placed in an sealed container (tote) and is in storage in a climate controlled facility. The box contained machined engine parts. It will remain in storage for at least 6-9 months, so I hope that the contents will be pristine when I remove them from the totes. 2 bags per tote were used, and the totes were locked by the manufacturers locking devices on each end. I will review better when I have a look at the stored components. However, I must say, that the packets were well packaged by the manufacturer and were easy to use. Thanks.

I put each of these in a large plastic bin that I use to store 3D printer filament. Each one has a humidity meter and at the start, they read 30%. Within a couple of hours, the bins with the Wisedry bags read 10%. I really appreciated the included sheet that told how to weigh the bags to determine when they should be recharged, and it gave instructions for doing this in a microwave, oven or leaving on a radiator (should you have one of those.)
