> 3 dayWonderful. My 11 year old loved it and was able to learn to code. I saw a bit of the video and I could see that it was very entertaining whilst teaching the kids. Well done. It would be great if they could produce more courses e.g. X Code. Also more of their current courses should be available on Mac.

> 3 dayDO NOT BUY THIS!!! Youth digital sold its software to Apex learning. You can not access the coding software at all unless your public school has purchased it. I was told to ask for a refund. My kids are so disappointed...

> 3 dayMy sons been looking at this for a while now. Okay, its worth paying for making education fun but I find this too high. Many online courses for free. Nice this is offered on Amazon to give as a gift but you can buy this download many places online for $150. I was hoping to find a bigger discount for Christmas. For $50 Ill wrap a printout of the purchase in a box to put under the tree if I do decide to purchase it. I was hoping to find this boxed nice for a gift but the price is way too high on Amazon.

> 3 dayMy 10 year old loves Minecraft and this was a double win. He is playing his game and learning great skills. He reports that he is able to follow the tutorials without help from us and he is happy to be learning over his Christmas vacation! So a triple win! We will be getting the 2nd lesson after he finished this one!

> 3 dayMy son is 8 and I was worried this would be too difficult for him. Turns out I was SO wrong as they manage to teach even the very basics (like introducing Ctrl + C for copy) without ever once being dull. I actually enjoy sitting with my son as he learns to mod Minecraft and watching the lessons with him! Id highly recommend this for anyone (child or adult) interested in learning to program in Java and/or wanting to learn to mod Minecraft.

> 3 dayBeyond my expectations! This has really got my kid to really focus on something that is both educational (learn about programming), fun to do(building something that no one else can do) and rewarding (gets to see it in action). Highly recommended.

> 3 dayI thought the presentation of the material was incredibly entertaining. My 11-year-old Minecraft fanboy was laughing out loud. This is the future of instruction - lectures via video crafted and perfected. Justins explanations are spot-on and are crystal clear. This is saying a lot given hes walking your kids through editing java code and the slightest mistake will cause a crash.

> 3 dayI bought this for my 11 year old son based on a facebook post when it went on sale for $49.99. We homeschool, and this was an addition to regular curriculum. Im so glad I purchased it! You should know that there is no software in the box, you simply receive a web address and a code to download the software. We have a Macbook and our son was able to follow the online directions and install everything himself. Hes a bright boy, but not necessarily a computer nerd, so a child who can listen and follow directions will be successful with this. He has had a little bit of programming instruction through the free online Khan Academy, so the first few lessons were a wonderful review for him. That was yesterday. Today, he started to make a sword. He ran into a few little problems with his code, so he sent a message through the help feature and received timely answers that helped him sort out his mistakes on his own. I was copied on all of those messages, too! (Great feature, there!) After a bit of trial and error, he was able to import the sword (sorry, light saber) and use it in his Minecraft kingdom. My husband and I didnt have to do a thing to help. What a relief to find a product like this that doesnt require hours of tech support and troubleshooting just to make it work for your kid!
