Greater than one weekIt was easy to put it together. Its a rather nice size for a tortoise areound six inches. It makes a great temporary home. I didnt give it 5 stars because They gave me one too many long screws and one less short screw. Also, it had some scratches in the wood.

> 3 dayVery cheap and the corners on the frame for the wired top came split open. Was not pre-drilled for screws either. Solid top on the one side of the enclosure is basically falling in right out of the box. Next time I will just buy a bin and save about $75.00 over this thing. Too poorly made for the price.

> 3 dayThis is a good product, but it was difficult to put together. The directions were not clear. I am not the most handy person, but given decent instructions I can put things together without any problem. The end product is nice and appropriately set up for a smaller tortoise or turtle. I can see my Russian outgrowing this but it certainly serves the purpose for now. Also in an emergency, I can see this being a viable housing alternative. I would recommend this to anyone wanting safe and secure housing space for their tortoise/turtle. My Russian is settling in slowing but surely.

> 3 dayThis house is the perfect size for our tortoise. It has plenty of room for the water bowl, food bowl, basking rock, and log to hide under. We put hay in the enclosed portion and our tortoise burrowed in and hibernated for over a month. Heating and UV lamps can sit right on top of the wire portion of the lid.

> 3 dayWe saw this model in a pet store for over $180, so we assumed this was a good deal. Unfortunately, it shipped warped out of the box. Several of the wooden panels were severely warped. This made the assembly very difficult, and the pieces were off by a quarter inch or so all around. Most of the pilot holes were off as well. Somewhat disappointing. Still out Redfoot Tortoise seems happy in it, and we didnt have to go build it. Just dont expect a pristine product. Note there is a lack of assembly directions either. The panels are poorly labeled, and the directions inaccurate.

Greater than one weekBought my Tortoise house a year ago to house a Russian Tortoise on my screened porch. However it simply does not hold up well in any sort of humidity such as we have in South Florida. The wood was already very cheap and flimsy as it was and the exposure it had to humidity warped it beyond repair. The Locks rusted less than a year in as well, and this is not in direct rain either. Would not recommend this for the price, lMO it is worth maybe half the price IF you plan on keeping your tortoise inside with artificial lighting.

> 3 dayAfter I got the little tortoise for the kids at the snake and reptile show, I found out that Cleo needed some outside sun time. Hense the house! Expensive! The tortoise was only 2 inches long and I had him for only 3 weeks at the time. But cute animal. First time seeing food go in at one end and poop coming out the other end at the same instance! And such a large amount for such a small animal!
