I wanted it to remove powder coating, I have not used it yet but it seems to be everything it claimed to be. Any complaints would be my fault because its for PVC. I just wish it had a sheath and belt attachment.

I bought based on the reviews of many wood workers that I follow via YouTube/blogs/forums. Does not disappoint.. Removes material very quickly, so pay particular attention when using. It has quickly replaced my old rasps and delayed my trying another new rasp I bought at the same time.

Indispensable tool for shaping a wooden guitar body. Very intuitive.

Love this thing! Better than a rasp. Takes a lot of with little effort.

I cannot say enough about how great this saw rasp is. I wish they made a thinner version, or a half-round version (somehow), and then Id probably never use a regular rasp again.

I bought this because I was making rounded tenons out of red oak and I dont own a lathe. I was able to make fairly accurate round tenons without much trouble. I was originally going to buy an Auriou cabinet makers rasp but it was over $100 and I couldnt justify the cost. Paul Sellers has a video on this rasp. Its a great value!

Im building a small boat and needed a way to even the sides and the chines to be able to attach the bottom. Im terrible at sharpening plane irons, so I needed some sort of rasp better than the 4-in-1 file/rasp that I already had. I decided to give this one a try, and it was perfect for the job. And now Im finding it great for rounding the bottom edges in preparation for fiberglass and epoxy.

So effective and easy to use it feels like it was sent here from the future. I wish I bought this tool when it first came out, I could have saved a lot of effort using various old style rasps. It is so far superior to any other wood rasp I have used that I see no reason not to send all my old ones to the thrift store. Rough side removes lots of wood without much surface damage while the smooth side gives you a finish that need just normal sanding. If you EVER need a wood rasp, buy this now, you will not regret it.
