> 3 dayNot an everyday tool but it can flat out rasp wood. I bought one for Christmas for all my woodworking buddies. Solid quality.

> 3 dayI think I would have preferred a wooden handle, but am happy with the grip this product has. It provides a semi- aggressive cut on one side, and a finer cut on the other, making it pretty versatile. Although I havent used it long enough to attest to its ability to stay sharp, or sturdiness, I do know it works plenty well for now, and since I dont anticipate doing something stupid, like filing metals with it, or using it as a hammer, I feel confident that it will stay serviceable for a good amount of time. Its basically a series of what looks like cris crossing hack saw blades, with large enough openings between plugging should never occur, which is a welcome bonus when considering how often one has to wire brush a file or standard rasp, or even sand paper, to clean them out if using on wood that is not sufficiently dried yet. If I hiton any snags or things I dont particularly like about this tool, I will try to remember to update this review. -A happy wood hobbyist-

> 3 dayPretty good, but not that much better than traditional rasps. The main advantage is to have a coarse and fine rasp in one. For the price, it is certainly worth it to add one to your tool chest.

Greater than one weekThis thing is a BEAST. It removes more material in a shorter amount of time than any other rasp by a long shot. Some rasps grab/bind up mid-stroke, but you can almost always push through each stroke with this rasp, giving great control. It is a joy to use. I may try to fashion a top handle so I can told it both on top and bottom to work even faster with more forceful strokes. The fine tooth side gets you ready for finishing sandpaper if you finish with a gentle stroke. At $16, this thing is an absolute steal. Best $16 Ive spent in a long time. I did slip and skinned my thumb and finger. It will take your skin off quick, worse that other files. Id recommend wearing gloves every time. SUGGESTION TO MANUFACTURER: a removeable upper handle to give two handed strokes would be great (Id pay for it). Also, a rounded version of this to help get in crevices would be welcome, and Id buy it right up.

> 3 dayTools that are large bulky not used a lot stay in my shed or truck box. Tools that are light efficient useful productive stay in my tool bag. This one is in my tool bag even though it leaves a little mess in there.

> 3 dayGreat idea! Will remove wood like a beaver. One side large teeth, other side, not so large. Did not know this tool existed until Paul Sellers put it on his blog. Even if you are an occasional woodworker or just a wood butcher, buy one now! Youll find its a useful tool
