9 Shinto Saw Rasp

Greater than one weekGreat tool! It removes a lot of material compared to a normal rasp and does not easily clog. I have four stars rather than five because the teeth on the coarse side lost their edge faster than I hoped, though I’ll admit I use the rasp a lot. A replacement blade piece would soften the blow of having to fully replace when it fills. I will be buying another one though. It’s a decent tool.

> 3 dayThis rasp really removes wood well. I used it to shape some reclaimed barn wood and it cut through Oak really well and remove stock at a rapid Pace. I highly recommend this rasp for woodworking

Greater than one weekI waited for this to finally go on sale. I should have bought it long ago. Works very well. It can remove large amounts of material or delicately shape your projects. Feels very good in the hand. The fact that your lead hand is right next to the cutting edges of the rasp forces you to work carefully resulting in better craftsmanship.

Greater than one weekI use this tool to remove excess dried glue on wood and it seems to work well for that. I have not used it for any other purpose but it does appear that it would work well as a simple would rasp

Greater than one weekI purchased after my good friend posted about the ease of use. I made a atlatl and this tool took away enough material and then smoothed away the rough rasp marks.

Greater than one weekWorth the cost. Fine and coarse sides shave off hardwood and leave a smooth surface.

> 3 dayGreat for controlled removal of material on surfaces which are difficult to plane and tedious to sand.
