9 Shinto Saw Rasp

I use this to rasp a bevel onto horse hooves. It works very well and stays very sharp.

I am a professional woodworker and bow maker. This is the best rasp you could ever dream to find. Its honesty a must have for a professional or a hobbyist. Im for sure purchasing another when this one becomes dull. Although the teeth are aggressive as you would expect from it being constructed of saw blades riveted together, it is easy to control for projects that require a little more attention to detail. I use it all the time to get a surface level and smooth before using a hand plane. But if youve just got a large mass of material that you need to burn through, this makes very quick work. And I even use it on the harder woods out there like bubinga and iron wood. 10 out of 10!

Theres a reason every luthier on YouTube has one. Simple to use, easy to use, and very quick in removing material.

I have lots of heavy duty files running a handyman service but this one Ill do them all

Havent had a chance to use it yet, but the rasp looks of high quality and very rugged Im sure Ill be happy with this fine tool !

My outdoor pony needs frequent touch-ups to keep his hoofs smooth when stamping at flies. My other rasp, no handle, was very hard for me to grasp and awkward to apply at the right angle. This rasp has stayed sharp, and helps me be quick and effective.

I havent had a chance to use it yet, but its a beautiful tool. I look forward to shaping wood now.

My go to for shaping guitar necks

This works as advertised. Excellent general purpose rasp. Course side removes wood quickly and the fine side leaves a surface ready for sanding.
