This takes the place of many tools. Double sided for rough cut and fine cut. Easily removed hard wood for shaping. A tool that every luthier should have.

This is the coolest woodworking tool I own. I build cigar box guitars and use it to shape the neck. This tool is very controllable and eats would like a beaver. I enjoy being able to do my projects without the noise and flying Sawdust of power tools. Dont know how I ever got along without it before I bought it. I also own the planer type as well. I have recently ordered an extra 9 inch tool just to have on hand if the one Im using gets dull or breaks. I recommend these saw rasps to anyone working or shaping wood.

Great tool!!! Can really rasp off some wood pretty quickly!!! Built sturdy, would definitely recommend this item to others that work with wood.

Love using this blade to make cuts on guitar body builds. Its especially handy for making belly cuts.

First of all, this is one of those special tools that makes a maker want to make. It has quickly become as standard to my primary toolbox as a hammer. Its the kind of thing nobody else on the job site has, (at first at least) and they quickly come to covet. I walk taller since I aquired this rasp. It just works. It has a fine side and a rough side that preform equally flawlessly. ****THE ONLY CAUTION, BE CAREFUL. I TORE SOME FLESH FROM THE KNUCKLE OF MY THUMB IN A MOMENT OF INATTENTION, NASTY**** This is a well made, grown up tool that I now consider essential. Worth every hapenny.
