abcGoodefg Nintendo Wii DVD Drive Replacement Disc Drive Repair Part with Opening Tool

I received the drive a bit late (May 2, 2020) but it is fine because of the COVID-19. Seller already did a great job. I replaced this drive with the broken one and it works. Now, my children can play Wii again while they are staying at home. I hope everybody can go outdoor very soon. Note: you will need a tri-wing screwdriver to open the Wii console.

this is the second time I replaced the drive on my wii. instillation is extremly simple. find a good youtube video to show you how. Make sure you remember where each screw goes. there are several different sizes and 2 types of screws.

This was literally the last and final attempt I was going to make to fix our Wii. We got the new drive quickly, it was just as describes and worked like a charm. We are so grateful to be able to play Wii again and I’m happy to have my yoga program back at home. Not only did it work but it was the cheapest option we could do before buying a refurb unit. Screwdriver got worn with each screw taken out but install was fairly easy and the Wii now works

Installed and working within 15 minutes. The disc drive in my wii was not reading the discs anymore, swapped it for this one from Amazon, and my son was playing games immediately. Received it very fast too!

Never fixed anything in my life before. You tube videos with step by step information on how to do it helped a lot. Buy the triwing screw driver set if you don’t have one.

This disc drive works excellent. The beat thing about it that it says it doesn’t play Gamecube games and those were the fisrt i tried and it did played at least for me. My original disk drive that came with the wii at some time it couldn’t played all the wii games i have like Xenoblade but with is it was fast. The only thing that bothers is that it makes a lot of noise well obviously depends on the game, like the laser it’s doing a lot of work I just hope it last for a couple a years. The other thing it that I find it a bit expensive IMO. Edit: Since 8 months with this, stills works.

Was able to fix my Wii no problem. The actual process is a bit complicated, lots of screws and stuff, but this drive fit perfectly!

Affordable, securely packed and, easy to install. Just make sure you have the right tools (y tip) screwdriver.

Works well so far but considering the price of pre-owned Nintendo Wii ($50~$80), its a bit pricy I think.
