Its a good little movie and writing laptop. It cant have many things open at once, and the webcam flickers but I like it.

This is an excellent laptop for the price but be prepared to deal with issues. The touch pad failed after one day and in reviewing the manufacturers blog, this is not an uncommon failure. By the return policy stated by Amazon on this policy I can only assume that there have been a number of returns to them. Then comes the Microsoft Edge when running in the S mode. Microsoft will get in your pocket even further by renting games, office, anti-pop up protection, plus others that I havent discovered. You should also be aware that the keyboard takes a bit of getting used to after the standard keyboard from a desktop. I also found getting out of a program is a bit difficult at times.

Bought one of these to replace a terrible Lenova laptop (that had much better specs) the wife had been using for nursing school. She absolutely loves it and has had ZERO complaints. Just bought one for the kid as she is doing online school this year. As far as the many complaints in reviews about the Windows 10S... my wife was able to open it to home version for free in a matter of minutes following the link that provides directions given in the questions section here on this page. So... I dont know why people are shelling out $130 other than they didnt bother to do a little research first. It is not a powerhouse and isnt intended to be, so people complaining about that arent really informed either. It has a BEAUTIFUL display but you shouldnt buy a $350 laptop and expect it to run complex modeling software like Mastercam or games that would bring a Geforce RTX 2080 to its knees. Know what you need before you buy. This is a great laptop for its intended capabilities.

This has to be the best value anywhere for a laptop of this caliber. Light weight, fast, easy to uninstall stuff that came pre-loaded, easy to get out of windows 10 S mode. We dont game or require lots of memory but if necessary just buy flash drive. Love backlit keyboard, screen is vivid!

Brand new computer wont take a charge or turn on after 93 days.

When I got this laptop, the F keys were automatically preset to their functions instead of simply being F keys. Normally, you have to hold Fn and hit an F key to use the function, but it was reversed on this machine. Also, the keyboard backlight turned itself off after 20 seconds of inactivity whether or not it was plugged in. It kind of defeats the purpose of a backlit keyboard, in my opinion, when you cant see the keys before you start typing.
