I have had this laptop for a week, and it has been nothing short of a disappointment. Pages keep not loading and the screen keeps freezing. Sometimes, it lags so long I could take a nap. I bought this to replace a broken laptop and never had any problems with my Wi-Fi. All my other devices still work as expected, it is definitely a laptop issue.

I had to purchase a laptop because my last laptop of 21 years, finally gave up & retired. Once I opened my my new acer laptop and let it complete its mandatory software update, it left my computer with zero internal memory (116 GB used), this is a major issue and I even uninstalled a large majority of apps not required to run. I have an external 8 TB connected and anything new saving on as well as installed 16 GB of internal RAM which has helped the processing tremendously and is rather fast. My extreme issue is nothing else can be done...no Micrisoft Office, nothing but literally check my email....if I try anything else I get a message there isnt enough internal memory.......Argh......very frustrating. Ive purchased an internal 1TB SSD that should arrive soon and Im hoping this fixes this constant issue Im experiencing. In addition, Ive purchased an external dvd HD drive for watching dvds if possible but currently no internal memory allows nothing but email as of right now.

Extremely disappointed with the buy. The keyboard started malfunctioning all of a sudden (keyboard not working, some keys start repeating all of a sudden, some keys are not working, etc). :-(

Laptop isnt even three months old, and Ive had to force shutdown twice within the last week since it froze up and immediately goes to a black screen. I dont even have the option to close down the program. It happens when using Google Chrome. If you have a viable solution, please let me know. Or, you can rest assured that I will not purchase another Acer in the future. Thank you.

laptop works good. faster than my previous laptop, but has static discharge in winter months when i touch it after i get out of chair.

I bought this because I was short on funds and really needed a replacement for my previous laptop. It had decent reviews and was in my price range. This worked for me when all I needed it for was schoolwork and web surfing but my biggest initial gripe was that the sound volume was very low. It was a necessity to download a sound booster and the scree was not very bright.

This is pretty basic computer with the bare minimum as far as specs go but that is what is expected when you pay under $500 for a computer. I went ahead and added additional RAM and it works better.

Great laptop. The ssd and AMD Ryzen processor make it lightning fast. Great for school or gaming. I went ahead and took windows out of S mode and activated Norton, but it works great in S mode if you dont need apps from outside of Microsoft store. Great price. Be sure its sold by and ships from Amazon or you may end up waiting far longer than the promised delivery date.

This is not an Amazon issue; its an Acer issue. After doing a lot of independent research, I purchased this laptop. I noticed the battery wasnt lasting as long as expected when not connected to power, so noticed that fully charged it measures just 3.25 hours when the spec indicated it would last up to 7.5-- and thats without power. When I called Acer Chat, she kept advising me of apps, and uses which drain the battery. After explaining, in writing, that this wasnt a battery use issue and getting the same feedback about draining apps/uses, I asked to be elevated. Apparently, elevating my chat wasnt available but someone would call wi/24 hours. Although I am still waiting, I have already arranged to return the laptop.
