> 24 hourI gave this laptop 4 stars because there are indeed a few things that I find lacking. But overall, its an excellent buy for the money. It was the best deal that I found at the time that had the major components I was looking for, which are, the most current i7 processor, adequate RAM, and solid state hard drive. The slight drawbacks are, the battery life. It doesnt last nearly as long as I would like it to when unplugged. Secondly the screen resolution, while not bad, is not as good as the portable monitors that I own that are of the same resolution and type. Lastly, one of the major exhaust vents is located just below the monitor on top of the keyboard. When its on, you, and everyone around you can hear it. Quite honestly, its annoying, but its not a deal breaker for me. Overall, this laptop is definitely a good buy for the money. I dont really care about all the environmentally friendly stuff. I honestly think thats more gimmick than it is anything else.

> 24 hourThis is a good computer in the $500 to $600 range. The screen is crisp and bright, the keyboard is backlit and comfortable, and the trackpad is decent. Feels more expensive than $500 and will be fine for everyday things like youtube, web surfing, office docs, etc. The design is appealing and you can easily access the internal components of the computer.

> 24 hourI honestly didnt want to buy another computer - really, I didnt! Theres something about me that has microprocessors shaking in their silicon...right before they go to the great recycler in the sky. Seeing as I have an all-in-one desktop, my old laptop was used for data storage and backup for the desk top. However, I signed up as a volunteer for an endangered youth hotline, and during orientation I found my desktop didnt meet the specifications needed. When I pulled my laptop out it needed an update but, for whatever reason, Microsoft could never get it to complete. I thought about all sorts of solutions, but finally decided I needed to replace my old laptop with something more up to date. Ill be honest, I looked at all sorts including military grade ones but this one...it intrigued me. So I looked into it furlrther. A computer made out of post consumer plastics? Really? But you know, it works and it works well.

> 24 hourI am very pleased with this laptop for the price it was. It is somewhat slow at times when trying to download something but other than that its pretty speedy. I highly recommend.

> 24 hourWhat impressed me the most Acer was one of the few to use an i7-1195G7 in a laptop within this price range and it remains cool & quiet. For work laptops I always avoided i7s due to the extra heat/fan noise, this is one area Acer pulled off with their very good cooling engineering. This is a nice balanced laptop which will fit the needs of a student & office work. The included travel sleeve provides basic protection.
