> 3 dayWhat impressed me the most Acer was one of the few to use an i7-1195G7 in a laptop within this price range and it remains cool & quiet. For work laptops I always avoided i7s due to the extra heat/fan noise, this is one area Acer pulled off with their very good cooling engineering. This is a nice balanced laptop which will fit the needs of a student & office work. The included travel sleeve provides basic protection.

> 3 day$500 for an I7 and .5TB ssd is a good deal. The only thing that really sucks is the back-lit keyboard. You can barely see the letters because of the light pouring out of the sides of the keys. Its really bright, yet hard to read the keys. Other than that, glad I got it.

> 3 dayI am pleased with the feel of the recycled plastic. It feels solid and is very capable. I have just finished setting up mine and I also purchased one for my wife. Really nice price for what you get and other than messing with Windows 11 for the first time everything went well on set up. Nice screen sound is suitable and I will be happy with it. The fact that you can easily upgrade should be mandatory for all laptops and this one is really easy to upgrade. What an innovative thing to do. Make something that people want. :-) I love it!

> 3 daySO this has an IPS monitor which gives you higher definition and clarity than an LED monitor. But also it uses more energy and these types of monitors are known for heating up and overheating which can cause premature failure. To further add to this issue, some genius put its heat fan pointed RIGHT at the front of the monitor. Ive never seen this in a laptop and dont understand why they couldnt vent it out the side or even reposition the monitor slightly so they could vent the heat out the back. Im really hoping that the heat blowing onto the monitor thats already known for heat issues isnt gonna be an issue. Within a few short minutes of regular browsing, its fan is blowing non-stop and the bottom part of the actual computer screen is getting hot because of the exhaust fan.

> 3 dayI purchased this laptop. In the last year it has had to be send in for repairs twice. I cannot suggest enough what a poorly build machine this is. Calling in for support resulted in several hours of support calls with Acer, where I was told there is nothing that they can do. The support people i spoke with were more concerned with getting off of the call than listening to the issue. This is the LAST time i will ever purchase an Acer product.

> 3 dayI was pleasantly surprised by the screen quality. Advertised at 250 nits brightness, so I was concerned it may not be enough, but the screen resolution and brightness are fine. The build quality is solid; 16 GB onboard comparable in price to many 8GB systems. Well built. The enviornmental green pitch did not influence my decision to buy or keep. Being able to upgrade to 64GB RAM was a plus. Also I like the 2.8- 5.0 GHZ CPU much better than the Ryzen 7 8-core at 1.9 to 4.3. I would have bought this one in the first place instead of the HP Ryzen 7 that I sent back given what I know now. I am very happy with the quality, performance, price
