I honestly didnt want to buy another computer - really, I didnt! Theres something about me that has microprocessors shaking in their silicon...right before they go to the great recycler in the sky. Seeing as I have an all-in-one desktop, my old laptop was used for data storage and backup for the desk top. However, I signed up as a volunteer for an endangered youth hotline, and during orientation I found my desktop didnt meet the specifications needed. When I pulled my laptop out it needed an update but, for whatever reason, Microsoft could never get it to complete. I thought about all sorts of solutions, but finally decided I needed to replace my old laptop with something more up to date. Ill be honest, I looked at all sorts including military grade ones but this one...it intrigued me. So I looked into it furlrther. A computer made out of post consumer plastics? Really? But you know, it works and it works well.

The configuration and the speed was amazing. The only problem I faced was the battery, it could not last more than 4 hrs. I contacted the help desk and as instructed reset the battery but in vain. Maybe my bad luck that I got a bad piece, otherwise I have no complains. Finally got fed up and had to return it back.

La compré para edición, pero a la hora de editar había problemas con la configuración del micrófono y no importaba el audio de los videos, no encontré solución y la tuve que devolver, la laptop es muy rápida, pero para edición que es para lo que quería no me jalo y la tuve que devolver

This is a junk product. Already having to contact Acer Support for assistance. The display has already gone out and Ive only had it for 6 weeks. Im really surprised that Amazon would associate themselves with a garbage product. Although the price is really good, you are investing in a junk product and Id suggest looking elsewhere for a laptop.

This was the worse product purchased ever! The software came with items bundled such as Norton Virus that could not be uninstalled and had excessive popups. Supposedly it may have been because it had an older version of Norton and required a Norton clean-up tool to remove it. Also, it said I did not have access to uninstall it. In other words, it came without giving full access to the user. I checked my access and i had full access as i was the only user and owner, but when I tried to delete the software it kept saying it was running somewhere else and I had to close there first. That message was not true.

I got this during a prime day sale and Im glad I did. I was looking for a laptop that had a number pad, without being too bulky. Great processor for basic tasks. I also like that its made if recycled materials.

My 2019 laptops motherboard failed and this laptop had the same sized SSD, same amount of RAM, and a better WiFi adapter and better CPU than my 2019 laptop for $200 less than I paid back in 2019. But why oh why did Acer have to make the recycled plastic case such a rough texture? Are you telling me you cant make recycled plastic smooth? Its rough on my wrists and I just started using the laptop this evening. The texture is a great idea on the bottom of the case because it prevents the laptop from slipping easily off your lap, but not great for the touchpad sides surface area. The case front side is beveled in front of the touchpad, but not to the left or right of the touch pad, a poor design choice! Also dont care for the bottom facing speakers on this laptop (too quiet at 100% volume), guess Acer assumed youd be using earbuds most of the time. Its a middle of the road laptop for the price I paid, thus 3 stars.

Very satisfied. Runs good. Large screen. Seems well made.
