Im impressed by the build quality and the screen. Performance is great, too.

Laptop has smooth and excellent performance with color accuracy since it has an ips display, takes about 45mins to an hour for a full charge and the battery lasts for about 6 hours max of usage before needing to get plugged in which might be a deal breaker for others but not really an issue, battery doesn’t drain fast when inactive so can pretty much last the whole day. Webcam quality is great for the price and can be used for zoom calls or video conferences, good so far.

So far so good. Acer is a good product. With Windows 11 installed it is quite a learning experience from Widows 10. Great for my brain to learn new changes.

I got this for my 12 year old daughter so shes not constantly using her school issued Chromebook. This Windows system offers more options but its still super easy for her to use. I was very impressed with the speed of this laptop. An i7 processor is awesome and should really be the standard at this point. After a few initial windows updates it was ready for use. Wifi setup was a breeze, and I didnt run into any issues otherwise. We tested various sites as well as Netflix/Amazon Video. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the visuals. My daughter just wanted to see how well Minecraft worked and I am happy to report its pretty flawless. For this price range, this is a great starter/ mid laptop for simple, everyday uses. And the design was also a plus for my daughter, she really loves the flecks all over, and it stands out from other laptops. Overall Im really impressed and well see how long it will last without issues, or before it slows down, as electronics inevitably do. Battery life is fair, comparable to most other laptops. Like I said, for a middle school kid, its a great choice!

My 2019 laptops motherboard failed and this laptop had the same sized SSD, same amount of RAM, and a better WiFi adapter and better CPU than my 2019 laptop for $200 less than I paid back in 2019. But why oh why did Acer have to make the recycled plastic case such a rough texture? Are you telling me you cant make recycled plastic smooth? Its rough on my wrists and I just started using the laptop this evening. The texture is a great idea on the bottom of the case because it prevents the laptop from slipping easily off your lap, but not great for the touchpad sides surface area. The case front side is beveled in front of the touchpad, but not to the left or right of the touch pad, a poor design choice! Also dont care for the bottom facing speakers on this laptop (too quiet at 100% volume), guess Acer assumed youd be using earbuds most of the time. Its a middle of the road laptop for the price I paid, thus 3 stars.
