MY MIND IS BLOWN! I am a medical student...soon to be doctor. This blows my macbook air out of the water (PARTICULARLY in terms of pricepoint). It runs so intuitively (something apple used to rule at). It also has its own solid anti virus protection built in (competitive feature against apple as well). It runs my EHR system AND I can use Zotero for bibliographies. Research paper writing, check. Patient charting, check. I was worried about memory/speed etc. But THIS THING RUNS LIKE A CHAMP. Note: I am not a gamer nor graphic designer nor movie producer. I can imagine requirements are way different. If only I knew I was WAY overspending for my needs. The ultimate minimalists dream computer!!!!! A $1700 laptop is clearly a waste in terms of what I actually need or even use! SO EXCITED AFTER PLAYING WITH THIS THING ALL NIGHT.

I really like this chrome book. It is perfect for my needs. I take online classes and wanted something that wasnt has clunky as my laptop. I tend to do my work while on the couch. I love that I can switch it instantly from looking like a laptop to a tablet. I didnt want the detachable keyboard as I still wanted to use it as a laptop but if i needed to without having to look for the attachment. Plus it acts as its own stand. The only down side it they really dont make covers for convertible laptops.

I’ve been using mine for about a year now, and it’s been amazing the whole time. While it is a Chromebook, which brings some limitations, it is still a solid computer for school/work type stuff. Also, the touchscreen is nice to have, and I’ve grown used to having it. In all, if you’re looking for a solid school laptop that you can bring to school and do work on, at a pretty good price tag for its quality, then this is the one you want. I can’t recommend this enough, especially if you’re going into, say, high school, like I was (even thought I had it a bit before the summer before the start.) Definitely reccomend! :D

Ive been using this now for about a month and love it. Went on a trip and was able to stream Netflix and watch as a tent. Can scroll with my hands or the touchpad. Clear monitor, good keyboard, keeps a battery charge a long time. So versatile. My only complaint is that its kind of heavy. I was hoping for something lighter when I travel, but I suppose thats why the battery life is so good. Very happy with this Chromebook.
