Acer KG271 bmiix 27 Full HD (1920 x 1080) TN Monitor with AMD FREESYNC Technology (2 x HDMI & VGA Port),Black

This is my first gaming monitor after years of gaming on a large TV. I would buy again, especially for a second (chat or video editing) monitor. My ONLY issue is that I didnt realize it only had VGA and 2 HDMI ports. I wish it had a display port but HDMI works great too!

Surprisingly this was a good monitor. It was easy to set up changing the modes was a breeze. Sounds is not the best but you can listen to music on it loud enough. Its amazing this came with an HDMI cable and the VGA cable! The screen has no edges basically very sharp looks great and very low profile. The stand gives it a nice sport gaming look. Definitely worth the money!

Absolutely amazing monitor for the price! Images are nice and crisp! Not quite as bright as my other monitor, but then again this was 1/3 the price. The viewing angles are limited, but that is to be expected with this type of monitor. Honestly if you dont need the best of the best, this monitor is absolutely the best budget monitor out there as of when I wrote this review. Once I am immersed in my game there is zero difference between this monitor and my top of the line one.

Near perfect for this pricepoint. Itll be very hard to find another like it. The only gripe I have with it is that it doesnt adjust and leans forward but I bought a stand which solved that issue. Also the 75 hz really does make a difference; I have a dual display setup and the other is a 120 hz but the difference between the two is less apparent than using a 60hz. Speakers are meh, but I didnt plan on on using them anyways so it doesnt bother me.

As others have noted, the built in speakers are worthless. Acer should just remove them and save themselves some money, as a pair of headphones cranked to Max are louder. Unlike some of the other comments, I havent noticed any flickering, dead pixels, lines, or other distortions and it doesnt give me any more of a headache than any other monitor. The color seems off compared to my existing monitor, but its hard to get two panels to look alike, even from the same manufacturer (I have matching monitors at work and one is way more blue than the other). If you can get it for under $100, its probably worth the buy.

Picture was fine. Occasional random screen flicker that would be fixed with a computer restart. 34 months later, the dreaded white screen with nothing plugged in except the power cable. Google search shows this is a common issue with this model. Had to go back to a Samsun monitor at least six years old.

Great Monitor, good picture and runs smoothly, only reason it doesn’t have a 5 star is because just a few days after the 1 year warranty it white screened. The monitor only has maybe 1000 hours on it also. But overall great monitor! Would recommend it.

Received in 2 days with my prime membership. This monitor does not disappoint. Clear, crisp screen. HD format great for split screen work or watching a video. Main reason I bought this particular monitor was the 2 HDMI ports. I am able to change them easily, if one computer is asleep it will automatically open the right port. Did not know that it included speakers, who would of thought that for just over $100 you could get such a great monitor. Thinking of getting one for my son for the gaming response time.

The extra large size make it easier to examine scans of old records I have to search!

I had purchased this monitor to take advantage of my 2017era gaming laptop with the idea of upgrading it at some point for a quality piece. This acer is pretty nice actually and after using it for 1080p gaming for a solid 5 months I see no reason to upgrade anytime soon. Works great and has a noticeable difference with AMD FreeSync compatible hardware.
