Best budget cpu under $100 hands down. I3 9100f might be better for pure gaming by 5% but No other cpu gives you 6 cores with 12 threads for the price, plus the new zen+ refresh basically makes it a 2600. Great buy for a gaming/workstation pc.

This is a Ryzen 5 2600 with frecuency downgrade but ia a exelente cpu

Love this little processor paired with a cheap A320 motherboard and rx580 for awesome 1080p gaming. Havent found any game that struggles with this configuration.

Bought this just for fun. I originally thought it was a worse binned Ryzen 5 2600, but mine can run all core 4.1GHz @1.3125V. After the overclock its cinebench score is near that of Ryzen 7 1700. I could push higher and it should be able to run at 4.2GHz all core under safe voltage, but this is already a surprisingly impressive result. Amazing performance with such a low price tag.

Upgraded my old intel I7 920 with this cpu, Asrock B450M-HDV R4.0 Socket AM4, and G.SKILL 16GB (2 x 8GB) Ripjaws V Series DDR4 PC4-25600 3200MHz , BIG BIG difference

Bought this on March 30th for $110. I was disappointed that it was no longer $85 but I figured it was still a great deal. In a day or two after it shipped, it dropped back down to $85. I love the CPU but cant help but feel ripped off, considering everyone else seems to have gotten it for $85. There was no way I could have known so I dont want to beat myself up too much about it, and again, I am happy with the CPU. My computer has been running great for over a month now. But if you are going to buy this, wait a few days for the price to drop so you dont make the same mistake I did and pay $25+ extra.
