The cool thing about this little budget cpu is the fact that it is 2nd gen Ryzen fabrication based. You get the performance and features of a R5 2600 for under $100 retail pricing. Its phenomenal value. The cpu is a multitasking beast and runs cool even with the stock cooler, assuming the case its in has decent air flow.

Decent specs and great for simple gaming. However, the shipping was cheap and poorly executed. My package arrived beat up and torn, even in the inside.

Everything about this CPU is incredible. For the price, there is nothing better.. yet. As I write this, its the best bang for your buck budget CPU (at $85). As many have likely stated, this is essentially a very slightly under-clocked 2600. So yes, this is a second generation chip and much more powerful than the original 1600 AE version. Confusing but its basically a 2600.

Amazing 6 Cores, 12 Threads $85

Obviously the reason why this CPU was good was because it had the performance of a R5 2600 for $85. Six cores and twelve threads for $85. I should have bought 5 of these when they were still in stock for the proper price. Soon though, it may be that the wildly successful R5 3600 may drop low enough to provide comparable price to performance of this when it was at MSRP, so hope is not yet lost for budget cluster-computing enthusiasts.

The processor all the super nerds have been ranting about! Cant beat the deal but you sacrifice the cost for a less than adequate cooler, wish I had the bigger model.

Clearly a used product, had a bent pin and leftover thermal paste. Item listed is not stated used or its condition. Buyer beware.
