The 1600 AF is ideal for home office use. Even at $115 I am totally happy. Unlike the awful cooler the 3600 ships with, the 1600 AF comes with a cool & quiet cooler. For home use the 1600 idles at 30c and gets to 45ish when working. Its faster than anything needed for windows 10 office. Cool, quiet, fast, 12 cores: perfect.

Considering this is an older model, this will be the minimum requirements for a gaming pc but I still find this to run almost any game with no issue

Used to build a low-end gaming P.C.. Matched up well most multiplayer shooters (Call of Duty III - Modern Warfare plays without lag). A good match for an RX570.

I know many people tend to want to compare this to x cpu on speed. This thing is fast. But its value is the golden ticket. 6 cores and 12 threads for a mere 85 dollars. Performance to price is outstanding and nothing else matches it. Get this cpu!

You can’t be this price for a 6 core CPU... it works great, I have it installed on a Gigabyte GA-A320M-S2H with 16 Gb of ram, plus Radeon RX 560 4Gb vídeo card and an SSD, it can handle anything you throw at it... including games. If you are on a budget this is it!!!

Honestly, got this bad boy for $85 a month ago. This is probably the best performance per price I have ever purchased, easily OCd to 4000 MHz with Ryzen Master. I still think its a competitor at the current price of $110 for a basic build but thats just me.

Im running this in a Gigabyte x570i Aorus Pro Wifi (ITX) board with 2x8 gb Crucial Ballistix LT. This is a placeholder until Ryzen 4000 series.
