Great CPU, pretty strong and fast, worth every penny

Excellent bang for the buck. I dont care for the cpu cooler, it has an annoying whir sound when ramping up rpms. Ill replace it before too long. It does cool the cpu just fine, FWIW.

Seriously I received a box that was missing everything except the heatsink/CPU fan... This coming immediately after I returned an unused completely undamaged cpu and they only refunded me for about 70% of the cost... awesome. Didnt even bother returning the last one when nobody respondes how I literally didnt receive any CPU

Im gonna give this a try on my gigabyte x570 UD motherboard; Ive had the regular ryzen 5 1600 AE in the past, it has been a good cpu. Ive upgrades to the 3600 since then, I decided to buy this particular cpu as a backup because it has AF on the product ID. Of what I have read it uses the 12nm zen+ core. Making it a wolf in sheeps clothing (aka 2600) plus the value making it outstanding buy.

Works great! 6 cores for $85?! For the average user this cpu is way more than enough to satisfy your computing needs. You must have a dedicated graphics/video card to connect to your monitor.

The R5 1600 AF is just bonkers value for the money. At $85 its a monster. You get Ryzen 2000 series performance for 1000 series price. This drops the hammer on anything below an i7-8000 series. Ryzen is such a great architecture so I am glad I was able to pick one up for such a low price. Just fantastic.

Good for streaming and gaming it is better than what intel has for the price.
