It does everything I need and has great temps. Im not sure why the price is so high now? The 3600 is better than this and the 3600x even better at these price ranges. DO NOT buy this for above $120. It sits hand in hand with a ryzen 2600.

I would buy 10 of these at the $85 price I paid, but they seem to never be in stock anymore! Such a great value and speed for the cost, definitely the best bang for your buck when it comes to CPUs. Make sure you get the model that starts with AF, because those are the newer more power efficient version (vs the original AE models).

I caught this when it dropped to $90. In the current market there is nothing that can compete. Ive researched for countless hours and I had my heart set on a Ryzen 5 3600 but the 1600 AF performs within 10% of the 3600 at less than half the price (if you can grab it on sale).

Arrived quickly but was dead out of the box. Not only that but I had purchased new ram as well and spent two days switching things around and had even ordered a new MOBO before I finally figured out it was the GD processor!!!

Great performance and value for the money...when they werent gouging you on the price. It was $85 when released not that long ago. Now they want a shade over $200? Look somewhere else.

This is such a nice cpu for the money because of and using the new wafer size for this chip. Even though its the 1600AF it is basically a second gen cpu. Able to overclock to around 3.6-3.8 with stock cooler but I would suggest a better copy cooler for higher overclock.
