This is certainly not quiet. If youre sitting within about 2 to 5 feet of it, it works well. Thats why I give it two stars. It might work well for a small cubicle or office (aside from the noise). We placed it in our living room near the couch and I dont feel any air and have to turn the TV up really loud to hear anything. I wouldnt buy again.

Not going to cool a whole room but if you freeze the pad it definitely helps keeps a personal bubble of coolness for a good amount of time

Works far better than the random one I bought from Walmart in 2018. It helps me sleep at my girlfriends house who does not have ac in her bedroom. It absolutely will cool you off but it’s only for one person. Only drawback is the tray that holds the filter can be extremely frustrating to remove and put back in. Yes it leaks water, they all do, it pushes water out the front so it’s obviously going to get wet at least this one has a filter and tray to catch the water. Don’t put any exposed wires near it and you’ll be fine it’s an amazing product for small space/personal cooling. Sitting 2-4 feet away directly in front of it for 10-20 minutes with the device set on high will actually make you shiver.

I found a lot of mixed reviews here but I took the chance on an item that could be a gimmick. I have not tested in the summer yet but initial test show that it could possible keep my person cool in the very small office I have. I do not think this will do anything in an average bedroom unless blowing directly on you. I have another small fan in my office and when both on high, they make about the same noise. The air is cooler than a regular fan. Condensation does buildup on the front so I will likely have to place a small towel underneath but if it works as I expect in the summer time, that will be worth it. This is not an air conditioning unit but it is a nifty item that will come in handy on the hot days stuck in my office.

Its alright for an hour or so then you have to fill it with ice cubes and water again to keep you cool. I usually but it on the table if I have a barbecue on a hot day but it gets tiring to keep having to refill.

Havent used them yet. But I have done some research they should work for my application.

Works well for the first couple of times, lightweight and easy to from my bedroom to office, not effective enough particularly in hot weather and plastic made of looks not elegant enough.

This will never produce ice cold Arctic air no matter what you do. If you buy thinking it will cool a small room well or make you cold you’ll be a bit disappointed. This works extremely well as a small fan with slightly colder air than just a regular floor fan. Fairly quiet and does have an option to turn off the light, and has very easy to figure out controls. Only major complaint is all the water. There is water EVERYWHERE after using this. It drips onto the table it’s on, looking inside the device there’s water dripping right next to the electronic parts of the device with nothing to separate the wires from the dripping water. I had to empty it out and take it apart to completely drain it of its water surrounding the wires and electrical parts. Definitely wouldn’t put it in a kids room due to all the water and electricity so close.
