> 3 dayI recently purchased this mini air conditioner, and I must say, its a game-changer for beating the heat. Its compact size makes it perfect for small spaces like offices or bedrooms. The cooling power is impressive, providing a refreshing breeze to combat hot summer days. The adjustable settings allow me to customize the airflow to my preference. Its easy to use, and the noise level is minimal, ensuring a peaceful environment. The only reason I deducted a star is because the cooling effect is more suitable for personal use rather than cooling an entire room. Overall, its a reliable and convenient mini air conditioner that delivers relief from the heat.

> 3 dayWorks great as a personal cooler. My AC went out months ago and its not in the budget to fix. So this personal cooler works well in tandem with a fan. Chills well even on lowest setting. Be warned that sometimes it leaks the water like a sieve. If you try and move it all with water in it, the water will leak out. Sometimes water will leak out of it if there is any left in there after use as well. I have it set up in a small plastic container because it leaks. Freezing the filter like it suggests doesnt really seem to affect the coldness levels coming out of it. I just run cool tap water into it and onto the filter and it gets chilly. Filter can be kind of janky fitting into the slot.

> 3 dayI bought this unit to cool my bedroom so that I could turn off my central heat and air. It made no sense to cool the entire house if I could just stay in one room and cool that. I was hoping that this unit would be a money saver as my money doesn’t go as far as it used to. Although I found it to blow cool air consistently, it did not cool the entire room. The instructions to for best results to use ice cubes but I don’t have an icemaker, so I just used water. The results were mediocre and I returned it.

> 3 dayComparing the negative reviews to the positive reviews to my own experience, its pretty clear that most of the people giving this thing a bad review didnt realize what they were actually buying. This will NOT air condition your entire house. Its basically just a small fan that blows colder air than a regular fan at you. Like regular fans, that means will not cool off your entire house or apartment, but it will keep the area in front of it cool. And its amazing! We put it on the ottoman in front of the couch while watching tv, and having a regular floor fan behind us with this thing in front was way cooling, much better than the fan by itself. Its not going to replace an actual air conditioner on a super hot day, but its got just enough cooling power to be really helpful if you cant use an a/c (maybe because you live in an apartment and technically arent allowed to have one, or you cant afford to buy one because yiiiiikes theyre expensive). But its really helpful for if a fan just isnt enough to cool you down. Also because of its small size, I find I prefer using it to fans when its a little cooler out. Sometimes fans are obnoxious, theyre loud, they blow things over, but this little thing doesnt have the blowing power to knock all your papers off your desk like a big floor fan does. I like to just have it on the ottoman blowing on my propped-up feet. Its supreme. I see some people complaining about how you cant turn the lights off, but you can. You need to keep hitting the light button, you have to cycle through all the light options but theres an off option at the end of them. The lights that indicate what settings are on dont turn off, but theyre really minor - like, they arent really bright. I especially like that this thing is small enough that it wont be hard to store somewhere in winter when it presumably wont be needed, unlike those big oscillating fans which are awkward to find a place for. Cons: On the highest settings its kind of noisy, but its a steady noise level so its easy to learn to tune out and turn the tv volume up over. Also the plug for it gets EXTREMELY hot after its been on. I dont think its necessarily a fire hazard, but I would give it a few minutes after you turn it off before you unplug it from the wall. All in all, if you know what to expect from this little guy, you will really enjoy it and appreciate it. Dont go into this thinking its a $35 air conditioner that will put your entire home into the arctic circle. It will give a nice cold blast to the area about 6 feet in front of it, which cools more efficiently than a fan but isnt as effective as an actual air conditioner. This guy is an air *cooler*. Side note: Youre encouraged to put ice cubes in the fill thing, and it can take an entire tray of ice cubes to fill it up!

Greater than one weekI am extremely disappointed with this product. This is the first 2.0 that I have purchased and it being a 2.0 you would think that it would be better than the original but it isnt. I purchased this product last week and hooked it up as soon as I received it. To my surprise midway through the night my floor was wet from it leaking and my room was hot. The original version of this product worked great but unfortunately I cant say the same for this one.

> 3 dayIve seen some of the other reviews complaining this little evaporative cooler fan isnt blasting cold air...well jeez, for $40, youre not going to get central air conditioning. I set mine on my patio table (here in hot sunny Arizona), keep the dampened cooler pad grid in the freezer so it can chill, grab a cup of ice cubes and a bit of water, pour into to the top of the unit, install the frozen pad grid, and turn it on. It doesnt put out really cold air, just cooler air. It has an adjustable vent so you can aim it up or down. Its not all that quiet, especially in Turbo mode, but not an issue outside for me. I do understand some reviewers mentioning the lighting issue (because they are trying to use this to help them sleep). Even with all the LED light options turned OFF, the power and mode LEDs (amber), still stay lit, and shine through the plastic housing. Duct tape should resolve that. Overall, I didnt expect greatness from this little box, but it does beat a regular desktop fan (and my outdoor ceiling fan) that just blows hot air around. It doesnt take up a lot of space, and the small Micro-USB cable doesnt get in the way, or become difficult to manage. Arctic...no, cool breeze....sure. Long lasting...only until the ice cubes melt and the pads dry out, but by then, Im ready to head back indoors for more ice, and a cocktail refill. Cheers!

> 3 dayAfter about ten minutes the device collected water on the vents. As you see I had to put a towel under it to catch the water.
