> 24 hourI would rate it higher, but the power cord it came with doesnt really work with it. I thought it broke, but it was actually the power cord that stopped working. I ordered a different one and tried using the same cord and it didnt work either. Thats when I realized the power cord had crapped out, not the unit itself. So now I have to return the other one I bought and get a better power cord for it. I like it because it does what its meant to do though. I have it on the table next to my bed for when I sleep. I need it pretty cold to sleep comfortably, because I over heat easily when I sleep. My dog usually gets out of bed because she gets too hot too, but now with this she stays in bed with me most of the night so I feel like my dog likes it too. I like the night light option, it looks cool and its not too bright to sleep with, but its bright enough to see by when you wake up in the night. I also feel like it acts as a humidifier because I notice that the humidity in my reptile enclosures dont drop as much at night any more and I know thats probably good for all my plants too. If youre expecting it to significantly cool a room it wont do that, but it drops the room temp by a couple degrees after its been on a while, but when youve got it pointed directly at you it will definitely cool you off.

> 24 hourSo 2.0 version is quieter, but this is only due to the fact that the fan on high is no longer as strong. High is now equivalent to LOW on the version prior. Also, there STILL is no option to turn the lights OFF! There is a night light that still shines in my eyes at night on my nightstand, keeping me awake. The other lights are even brighter than the previous version. We dont need to pay an extra $20 for a fan that barely blows and fancy lights that blind ya. Also, the air filter felt is less than half the other versions. I have allergies, and when though this is just a fancy fan, I NEED the air filter. Stick to the ORIGINAL version and price!

> 24 hourI bought this unit to cool my bedroom so that I could turn off my central heat and air. It made no sense to cool the entire house if I could just stay in one room and cool that. I was hoping that this unit would be a money saver as my money doesn’t go as far as it used to. Although I found it to blow cool air consistently, it did not cool the entire room. The instructions to for best results to use ice cubes but I don’t have an icemaker, so I just used water. The results were mediocre and I returned it.

> 24 hourThe product is fine and works but it holds water when done in the bottom filter tray. So you have to keep a towel under it

> 24 hourI bought this to aid in cooling down an extremely small bedroom - cannot fit more than a queen sized bed and two nightstands in it, only to shimmy yourself around to get to the bathroom - because the summer heat in Arizona is cray cray. Loved that it would be delivered same day (Metropolitan area for the win!). Had this little baby in 2 hours or less - and immediately opened it to set it up in said bedroom. Instructions suggest cartridge to be frozen. Well, that was a bummer; looks like I had to wait (story of my life). I soaked the cartridge, according to directions, and placed into freezer. Everything was ready for prompt usage in the am. Next morning, I woke up, did my shimmy shimmy around the bottom of the bed, and in a blink of an eye, fed the cats and made my coffee. I took the cartridge out of the freezer and inserted it into my new Artic Air Godsend. Turned it on, and waited for the cool blast that would signal the end of hell itself....and waited....and waited......nothing. Sure, it was cool, sure there was a faint trickle of air escaping the vents, but nothing like advertised; I think I breathe harder walking to the front door. I thought, maybe its just in the wrong place...after all, isnt it all about location location location? I placed the Artic Air so the air flow would be directed across the bed. And waited again (I think you can see a pattern emerging here). Still nothing. Then I remembered...Good Things Come To Those Who Wait.....I left the room, watched an episode of Enterprise (worse theme song ever! I WILL fight you on that) and returned with renewed hope. Nothing changed. I could see condensation forming on the vents so knew it had some temperature change but it definitely did not change the temperature in the room. I even thought it may have just needed a little help, after all, we get by with a little help from our friends, right? I placed a fan next to it, to give it a little more umphh, and STILL NOTHING!!!!! My heart sank, for the devil himself would be hard pressed to remain in this room during the day. In conclusion, this is not a buy I would recommend - save yourself the grief and buy a window AC unit. I know I am.
