Feels kinda cheap. I havent used it yet but im kinda skeptical.

Really nice quality fire-steel. Great showers of sparks. The scraper is really nicely done too and attached by shock-cord as in photo.

I have some smart ferrous rods had hard time starting fire but with this one I can actually start fires works great

I really like the Ferro Rod because of its size. I went with this one over cheaper rods simply because I liked the scraper tool that came with it. Only one thing about it: the scraper is made in such a way that a right hander has no problem using it to throw sparks with the long side of scraper. As a left-hander you have a tiny section to try and throw sparks with. I will be adding this rod to a knife with a 90 degree spine and wont be using the scraper that came with it. Unfortunate as that was the reason I bought this one over a standard blank ferro rod.

I like that is is so easy to use and has plenty of surface making it easy to hold and work with.
