Greater than one weekThis vacuum was so much fun its ridiculous. PROS: -Very powerful for its size. More suction than even many larger vacuum cleaners. -Extremely easy to use: --Ergonomic and lightweight. On/Off button can be reached by the thumb, one handed. --Rubber tip can safely and efficiently clean cloth and the like. --Plastic hose rotates at BOTH ends, so its rarely awkward. --Attachments are quick and easy to swap. A long one, a wider flat one, and a rubber one. -Cord is a decent length and comes with an attached velcro wrap which is very, very useful. -Emptying is a cinch: --Compartment is clear, so you can tell when its time to empty. --Filter is REUSABLE and easy to clean (as far as reusable filters are concerned, anyways.) --Easy to pop off, dump, pop on again. -The entire thing is accessible, so if anything gets clogged it can be fixed lickety-split. -Remarkably inexpensive. -Yellow-orange is cool. Gives it an industrial edge. CONS: -The cord, wrapped up, is about the same weight as the vacuum. Its a little awkward hanging off the side, but its an understandable sacrifice to save the simple and small design of the rest of the cleaner. -Exhaust blows forwards from both sides, which can kick up dust a little; especially if youre cleaning a dry spill. This isnt much of an issue if you use the hose, though. -Gets kinda warm after a few minutes of use. Doesnt ever seem to get really hot, though. Cools off fast too. -Not exactly easy to store, what with its separate attachments and all. Another sacrifice for its simple design. -Doesnt have a light. Fortunately for me, I had a tiny flashlight with a stretchy strap to attach to my finger or the tip of the nozzle. My genius upgrade. Other cons come from it just being a vacuum cleaner. Such as: -Its noisy. Not deafening, though. -Cleaning the filter gets dust everywhere. Do it outside. *cough, cough* -It gets dirty easy, and visibly. So clean it with a little water and a rag, if its even worth bothering. And its small, so its limited in other obvious ways: -It fills up fast, making it ever the more wonderful how easy it is to empty. -It cant do large areas like carpet or big rugs. -It doesnt come with a long tube or brush attachment. -You cant use it standing up. SYNOPSIS: This vacuum is a JOY. Its easy to use, lightning fast and powerful. YOUR STAIRS WILL BE CLEAN. And your corners will be dustless. I loved running around the house hitting all the dust-bunny hot spots; bang, bang, bang. Done. Clean. No questions asked. I leave all the big stuff to my Filter Queen, but with this Cleanview Ill never cut corners again!

Greater than one week1) Reviews noting the weird placement of the vents are 1000% right. The air blows any dust that might be in front of the vac all around. You cannot use this as a handy little dust devil to clean up small messes unless you use the hose attachment or McGuyver something up like some other reviewers 2) DEFINITELY BUY THIS FOR PET HAIR! This has been amazing at getting my tuxedo Cat’s hair off of every textile she passes by. It only took a couple of passes to clean up her favorite soft velvet seat, which has been a nightmare with other hand vacs and power roller attachments from my regular floor vacs. 3) The rubber nozzle is absolutely genius. It has openings on both sides, so when vacuuming flowy textiles like blankets and curtains, it doesn’t jam up but actually removes the hair. Also let’s you hold the vac “upside down” if that’s an easier angle for your hand. 4) This was the very best corded hand vac I’ve tried, and I don’t even consider cordless because Cat gets around the apartment and there’s no way one charge would be enough and corded is way more reliable to me. 5) Cleaning the canister and filter of collected debris was pretty straightforward like on most bagless vacs. Summary: buy this vacuum to get pet hair off textiles, but not for general vacuuming needs.

> 3 dayGoodness, I purchased this for one reason and one reason alone; to hope beyond hope that I might be able to have a sofa that doesnt look like yeti. The rubberized end and suction makes it very easy to quickly and easily remove the inches of cat from my sofa each week. I can see where some reviewers were having problems with the vents, they do get quite warm. Additionally the tank is just a little small for my taste, and can get stringy items easily caught in it. But where-in I need it to remove cat hair from the sofa, it is a solid five stars.

> 3 dayI love the size and versatility of this. The attachments are useful. The only downside us the filter which has to be cleaned out frequently. It has decent power and can be used in small rooms and spaces, stairs and places you cant get the big one. I also like that it has a cord and so it can run longer than battery powered ones with more power.

Greater than one weekI am a review reader and was concerned about a few conflicting reviews on suction, also the outflow air blowing everything away before you could vacuum it up. I am not really having the same issues. I am using this in a fifth wheel to keep things from going south between trips home. I love it for this use. Our floors are half wood, half carpet and this does the job. The suction is very very strong. The attachments do all of the basics quite well. The only place it cannot reach is to the back of the rear couch, because nothing can really reach behind it. The cord is plenty long but I have outlets all over, so. But I don’t need to switch outlets except to change rooms. The outflow air is definitely strong like the suction. And sure, they could have changed the design with slanted louvres, or something to that effect. But being a bit mindful of which way I hold it seems to do the trick, and I haven’t had much problem with it, if any. The molded attachments seem sturdy, although the nose cup clips on with not too much of a “clip” which makes me think that too many ons and offs when emptying the debris cup will eventually wear away the “clip”. But not something I know yet so I’m just enjoying it. The vacuum so far is pretty much exactly what I wanted it to be.

> 3 dayI have a small apartment with a cat. This is great for getting litter out of crevices and getting the couch. Its kind of paint to try to vacuum my little rugs, I still have to use the floor vacuum, but otherwise, the suction is great and basically sucks up anything in front of it.
