> 3 dayAs of November, 2015, this still works perfectly. My biggest complaint at this point is that when I use the hose attachment, the hose is rather stiff, and if you turn the hose a certain way, it makes the whole hand-vac tumble over. I purchased this to replace our previous one that I burned out the motor on. So far, this has done a better job than our previous hand-vac, and the previous one did a good job. We have two cats, one of them being a long-haired cat, and this hand-vac gets the cat hair off the carpet much better. The vacuum comes with several attachments. The standard attachment has rubber nubs on the end and does a good job at picking up the cat hair. There is also a little hose attachment and a piece that attaches to that with a velvety material that does a great job at gathering hair from furniture. In addition, there is also a crevice tool to get into corners well, and works very well on stairs. The hand-vac is a bit noisy, but it gets the job done. I also see why people have complained about the air rushing out the side of the vacuum. You have to be strategic about where you aim the side of the hand-vac, or you may end up blowing all your dust and pet hair around the room while you are trying to pick it up. That being said, it is not difficult to manage that. I do find the handle to be a bit more awkward to hold than our old hand-vac, but not a big con.

> 3 dayCleans amazingly well for a small vac. Needed something for the pet hair in our cars. This does the trick and quickly!

> 3 dayWorks well. Sturdy. But the side blower blows away hair - especially on steps.

> 3 dayThis plug is hand vacuum is so much more powerful than any cordless hand vacuum I have ever owned. It is light weight. The electric cord is very long which is another excellent feature. I will not buy a cordless vacuum again.

> 3 dayIm halfway through a 4-week stay at a hotel and Ive got my cat with me. Leading up to this transition between my old home and my new one, I was apprehensive at the thought of living in such close quarters with my cat, dealing with his hair and tracked litter. Yuck!! Ive had my Bissell handheld vac nearly 6 months but previously only used it occasionally - under normal living conditions, its the full sized vacuum that gets used. But here at the hotel I use the hand vac daily. I have a lidded plastic container for the vac. Pulling it out, plugging it in and getting rid of the bits of litter and then shoving the vac back into the container couldnt be easier. It isnt too heavy, I love the placement of the on/off switch (you can easily turn it on and off with the hand youre using to hold it) and the cord is long enough that I keep part of it wrapped up in the pre-attached velcro strip. I find that I mostly use the straight piece rather than the rubbery attachment. If anyone is contemplating living in a hotel room - or other small space - with a cat, heres how I avoid having to deal with stray pet hairs going up my nose ... I place the cat in the dry bathtub, sit on the edge, and brush him down good with his rubber Kong brush. As anyone knows who has used one of those rubber brushes, they accumulate a lot of hair and while most of it sticks to the brush some of it flies around a bit. After Im done, I use the hand vac to clean off any cat hair that has stuck to the tub. I also have a sheet that I cover the bed with during the day and in the evening I hold it over the dry tub to shake the cat hair off, then use the hand vac in there. So thats my story. Oh, and it also works great around your tv chair if you happen to scatter bits of popcorn. :)

> 3 dayThere are very few things Ive purchased that I rave about. But this is one. Ive owned about ten small handheld vacuums, and about 100 larger vacuum cleaners over my lifetime (literally, thanks to my Xs and teenage daughters ignoring my pleas not to suck up furniture, clothing items, entire wire spools, etc. into the vacuum. Bad for the motor). The small ones I generally used for my office (I was high ranking enough to have an office, but low enough not to have it vacuumed more than yearly), small apartments, cars, furniture, etc. By FAR this is the best. Dont be put off because it doesnt have a rotating brush--these just are bombs looking to explode. At a minimum they break often, and get stuck, and by the time you smell the awful burning aroma, the motor is cooked. This has plenty of power. The variety of attachments is imaginative and useful. The funniest use Ive had for it was vacuuming my profoundly deaf cat. To her, it the vibrations just felt like a purr, and even after a flea treatment and combing, it pulled a few fleas out which I could see in the clear filter. Forget the chargeable ones. They work well for about 5 minutes. Like any other vacuum, this will only work as well as you keep the screen and filters clean, so dont let them get too clogged. Theyre easy to remove and shake the debris out of, so its plus, plus, plus in my book.

> 3 dayI have bought many handheld vacuums in the past only to be disappointed with weak suction. This little vacuum has as much suction power as a regular upright!! I’ve used in my car, on steps, and blanket that my cat naps on. On every occasion, it works like a charm! Makes short work of any cleaning. Would recommend to anyone

Greater than one weekHaving the right tool for the job makes all difference! I just received this vacuum today. I bought it for the specific purpose of vacuuming my stairs, which has always been a frustrating task for me. I have tried various vacuum cleaners. The large ones are cumbersome on the stairs and often the attachments are not powerful enough to get everything up, especially in the crevices. The handheld ones I have tried have not had adequate suction to really get up all the debris. This little vacuum, however, did a fabulous job. I used the regular surface head first, and then the crevice tool for the crevices. It was easy to switch back and forth between the two as I worked. When I dug my fingers into the crevice at the stairs I did NOT pull out a bunch of debris because the vacuum got it all. Then I went back over with the pet hair brush and it really fluffed up the carpet so it looked refreshed. It was not a necessary step for cleanliness as the first two attachments took care of getting all the hair and debris, but it really made it look nicer. Took me fifteen minutes to do a whole flight of stairs this way. The longer cord is most definitely a plus for this task also. I am so glad I purchased this vacuum. I feel like keeping my two flights of stairs clean, with two kids and two cats in the house, is going to be much easier for me from now on. It is a fantastic tool at an extremely affordable price! Highly recommend to anyone who has carpeted stairs!

Greater than one weekI ordered this to do my furniture instead of using the attachments in my upright. Does a good job for the size, very powerful and I am pleased. It is a little heavy but that small price to pay instead of dragging out the attachment on my upright. It is more than worth the price.
