Greater than one weekI have owned many hand vacuums to use in my car. This was the best one I have owned to date. I love the attachment with the flexible hose and the crevice tool. It is easy to empty and change attachments. It has such great suction. I do have to plug it in but the cord is long enough that I don’t need an extension even to park the car right outside the garage to clean. Plugging it in is the way to go for the best cleaning power and duration.

> 3 dayI have owned two of these little vacuums...use it mostly on my stairs and does a great job. My only complaint is that the handle is hollow and eventually will crack with frequent use. Had this happen with both vacuums and with this last one, I husband-rigged it with lots of electrical tape and am still using it!

> 3 dayI needed to replace my handheld vacuum. I was open to buying either a cordless one or one with a cord. I didnt have a strong preference, either way. I luv that it has a long cord (18 foot) & a HEPA filter. The suction is ok & its easy to empty.

> 3 day5.006/18/2018 SO FAR SO GOOD: EXCELLENT HAND VAC FOR PET FUR PICKUP Best Uses Pet Hair on furniture and other pet sleeping areas Our cat and two dogs are allowed on a few pieces of furniture. We have looked long and far for a dustbuster hand vac which actually will pick up pet hair and lint without damaging the surface of the furniture and which has the suction to pick up all the hair. When our latest iteration of a hand vac died, we did some research and discovered Bissell. After reading the reviews we could find, we settled on the Deluxe Corded Hand Vac - 47R51. We were concerned that one review said the filter became clogged and had to be replaced often. Even so, we decided to order the 47R51 and we are so glad we did. It picks up pet hair far more easily and more quickly than any hand vac we have ever owned. We do not understand the criticism because we are able to empty the pet hair quickly and easily. We have only been using the 47R51 for three weeks, so our experience is limited. However, I would buy another one today is we were to break the one we currently have. We are not sure how or why it works so well, but it does.

> 3 dayHad a friend coming to stay for a few days who is allergic to cats. We planned for my cat to stay away by being kept in another room, but there was still the matter of her hair all over the living room furniture. I had not vacuumed the furniture in months. One thorough pass with this vacuum was all that was needed. My friend didn’t even need to take the Benadryl she brought with her.

Greater than one weekThis vacuum was so much fun its ridiculous. PROS: -Very powerful for its size. More suction than even many larger vacuum cleaners. -Extremely easy to use: --Ergonomic and lightweight. On/Off button can be reached by the thumb, one handed. --Rubber tip can safely and efficiently clean cloth and the like. --Plastic hose rotates at BOTH ends, so its rarely awkward. --Attachments are quick and easy to swap. A long one, a wider flat one, and a rubber one. -Cord is a decent length and comes with an attached velcro wrap which is very, very useful. -Emptying is a cinch: --Compartment is clear, so you can tell when its time to empty. --Filter is REUSABLE and easy to clean (as far as reusable filters are concerned, anyways.) --Easy to pop off, dump, pop on again. -The entire thing is accessible, so if anything gets clogged it can be fixed lickety-split. -Remarkably inexpensive. -Yellow-orange is cool. Gives it an industrial edge. CONS: -The cord, wrapped up, is about the same weight as the vacuum. Its a little awkward hanging off the side, but its an understandable sacrifice to save the simple and small design of the rest of the cleaner. -Exhaust blows forwards from both sides, which can kick up dust a little; especially if youre cleaning a dry spill. This isnt much of an issue if you use the hose, though. -Gets kinda warm after a few minutes of use. Doesnt ever seem to get really hot, though. Cools off fast too. -Not exactly easy to store, what with its separate attachments and all. Another sacrifice for its simple design. -Doesnt have a light. Fortunately for me, I had a tiny flashlight with a stretchy strap to attach to my finger or the tip of the nozzle. My genius upgrade. Other cons come from it just being a vacuum cleaner. Such as: -Its noisy. Not deafening, though. -Cleaning the filter gets dust everywhere. Do it outside. *cough, cough* -It gets dirty easy, and visibly. So clean it with a little water and a rag, if its even worth bothering. And its small, so its limited in other obvious ways: -It fills up fast, making it ever the more wonderful how easy it is to empty. -It cant do large areas like carpet or big rugs. -It doesnt come with a long tube or brush attachment. -You cant use it standing up. SYNOPSIS: This vacuum is a JOY. Its easy to use, lightning fast and powerful. YOUR STAIRS WILL BE CLEAN. And your corners will be dustless. I loved running around the house hitting all the dust-bunny hot spots; bang, bang, bang. Done. Clean. No questions asked. I leave all the big stuff to my Filter Queen, but with this Cleanview Ill never cut corners again!

Greater than one weekFirst flaw in design, as many others reported, it blows out air (on the sides) as hard as it sucks in air. You’ll feel it at your face and arms. Second flaw, it has a [silicon Rubber, not plastic] suction mouth (gray) which get stuck badly on the carpet. Who designed this? Meaning you can’t (I repeat, you Can’t) use it bare, it stuck on the carpet, fabric sofas and couches immediately—Not very efficient when trying to push and pull. You’ll be dragging instead. However, there are external attachments, but they are too darn small which defeat the purpose vacuuming effectively. You want to use the handle and push and pull—but you Can’t. Maybe for car vacuuming is okay using the an attachment. But again the strong air that blows out on the sides will make you think twice about the purchase.
