> 3 dayThis is a good alternative for one of those large home vaccums that weight too much. In terms of price, suction and portability, this is definitely a winner as it excells in all of these categories. I have mostly used it to clean up the inside of cars, and I like that it is very light for the amount of suction that it holds. Best thing is that it is wired, so no messing around with loss of suction due to low battery level.

> 3 dayI bought this to use indoors and also to clean my car. I wanted a corded vacuum for maximum power and also to be able to use in my house. The car vacuums plug into the car and I wouldnt be able to use inside my house. Ive had rechargable vacuums and found them clunky, had little suction and usually died in about a year. This Bissell is perfect for me. The main portion of the vacuum sits on the seat of the car and I use the hose and attachment to clean my car. Other vacuums make you hold the whole thing in your hand and some are quite heavy and akward to use. This lttle gem has tons of suction and the attachments allow me to get hard to reach knooks and crannies where M&Ms and coins like to hide. Inside the house, its always ready to clean up spilled plants and coffee grounds, no need to wait for the battery to charge up. Long gone are the days of shoving dirt and crumbs in front of the vacuum hoping it sucks up this time. The long cord allows me to clean all my stairs or my car without an extension cord. I didnt have any problem emptying the dirt and reassemblying it. I would buy it again.

> 3 dayI have a long haired cat that kitty litter gets stuck in the fur on her feet and she tracks it out all over the carpet. This works GREAT for vacuuming that litter up. Not so great for hair, but I have another one for that .....I do like this and bought another one

> 3 dayHaving the right tool for the job makes all difference! I just received this vacuum today. I bought it for the specific purpose of vacuuming my stairs, which has always been a frustrating task for me. I have tried various vacuum cleaners. The large ones are cumbersome on the stairs and often the attachments are not powerful enough to get everything up, especially in the crevices. The handheld ones I have tried have not had adequate suction to really get up all the debris. This little vacuum, however, did a fabulous job. I used the regular surface head first, and then the crevice tool for the crevices. It was easy to switch back and forth between the two as I worked. When I dug my fingers into the crevice at the stairs I did NOT pull out a bunch of debris because the vacuum got it all. Then I went back over with the pet hair brush and it really fluffed up the carpet so it looked refreshed. It was not a necessary step for cleanliness as the first two attachments took care of getting all the hair and debris, but it really made it look nicer. Took me fifteen minutes to do a whole flight of stairs this way. The longer cord is most definitely a plus for this task also. I am so glad I purchased this vacuum. I feel like keeping my two flights of stairs clean, with two kids and two cats in the house, is going to be much easier for me from now on. It is a fantastic tool at an extremely affordable price! Highly recommend to anyone who has carpeted stairs!

> 3 dayI had low expectations. Its not expensive. The cord is very long. I have a Dyson so getting this I thought was overkill but the extension does reach areas I couldnt get to with the Dyson. Ive had to give myself a haircut because of Covid and this thing cleans up all the hair. Its also more convenient to use in some hard to reach places than my Dyson. Its worth every cent Update- The nozzle that connects attachments to the vacuum has fallen off twice so far. Its a design flaw. I dont see a workaround. So reducing my 5 star review to a 2 star review. I would not have bought it if I knew this would happen. Maybe Ill return it. I dont have the box anymore so it will be a hassle. Update again- Ive been using this for a year and its awesome. Sometimes the nozzle pops off but it takes a second to put it back on. It gets all the hair off the floor. Love this thing

> 3 dayI really want to like this vacuum more because it works so well on getting pet hair out of the carpet (I have a rabbit). This is the 3rd vacuum Ive bought to try to help clean up her pen and the wide mouth without any tubes helps with the stray bits of hay too. But the vent on the sides blow up the dust/debris before you can get to it. Its pretty frustrating! Luckily I read reviews knew to put some paper around the vents to re-direct the air (but it felt like it was getting kind of hot). I thought the reviews might be exaggerating, but its strong enough to blow stuff around on carpet and it was especially bad on our hardwood floors. Someone suggested using the tube attachments to get around this, but I want to use the rubber for the hair and I found that hay kept getting stuck in the tube when I tried on a different vacuum--maybe a problem particular to me. Update: I taped cereal boxes around the vents to make them point up and that helps it not blow away fur/dust not make it get hot. I wish it had been designed better at the start!

10-06-2025There are very few things Ive purchased that I rave about. But this is one. Ive owned about ten small handheld vacuums, and about 100 larger vacuum cleaners over my lifetime (literally, thanks to my Xs and teenage daughters ignoring my pleas not to suck up furniture, clothing items, entire wire spools, etc. into the vacuum. Bad for the motor). The small ones I generally used for my office (I was high ranking enough to have an office, but low enough not to have it vacuumed more than yearly), small apartments, cars, furniture, etc. By FAR this is the best. Dont be put off because it doesnt have a rotating brush--these just are bombs looking to explode. At a minimum they break often, and get stuck, and by the time you smell the awful burning aroma, the motor is cooked. This has plenty of power. The variety of attachments is imaginative and useful. The funniest use Ive had for it was vacuuming my profoundly deaf cat. To her, it the vibrations just felt like a purr, and even after a flea treatment and combing, it pulled a few fleas out which I could see in the clear filter. Forget the chargeable ones. They work well for about 5 minutes. Like any other vacuum, this will only work as well as you keep the screen and filters clean, so dont let them get too clogged. Theyre easy to remove and shake the debris out of, so its plus, plus, plus in my book.
