Bissell Cleanview Deluxe Corded Handheld Vacuum, 47R51

Had a friend coming to stay for a few days who is allergic to cats. We planned for my cat to stay away by being kept in another room, but there was still the matter of her hair all over the living room furniture. I had not vacuumed the furniture in months. One thorough pass with this vacuum was all that was needed. My friend didn’t even need to take the Benadryl she brought with her.

i was happily surprised about how powerful this is. its a little loud but not unexpected for a vacuum. i got it to do a pretty nasty little project which i didnt realize would involve quite fine dirt. the flaw is the white accordion filter got really, really full of the dirt which greatly diminished the suction. i had to take it apart and give the accordion filter a really hard few whacks to dislodge the dirt VERY frequently which made a messy job really intolerably messy. also the crevice tool is really short and not very helpful. i did like the hose feature which did make it easier to reach some areas. for the purpose i bought it involving fine dirt, its not right, but quick jobs or areas that really need a handheld and a long cord, its probably a good match.

Needed to replace a very old and very used Dirt Devil. This Bissell proved much better in all respects. Very long cord (thank you!), compact unit, great suction, and best of all VERY easy to clean. You cant beat this unit for the price. Picks up cat hair really well off all surfaces. Highly recommend.

Works well. Sturdy. But the side blower blows away hair - especially on steps.

This is a very good vacume . Just what I wanted. My only complaint with it. Is the way it was sent . There was no mailing box with a shipping lable and no way to return it due to a lack of address information or return shipping . So if I had to return it, I wouldnt know where to send it and I would have to pay the postage and a box to return it in. That was a little disappointing to me. The box wasnt even taped shut ! The suction on this thing is really good. The cordless models I had been getting just lost suction over time - being this is corded, Im hoping it will be different. Easy to use, I like that the on switch is on the handle where your thumb can switch it on. If you set it down however while using it, it just flops over on its side. Not a big deal, but annoying.

Goodness, I purchased this for one reason and one reason alone; to hope beyond hope that I might be able to have a sofa that doesnt look like yeti. The rubberized end and suction makes it very easy to quickly and easily remove the inches of cat from my sofa each week. I can see where some reviewers were having problems with the vents, they do get quite warm. Additionally the tank is just a little small for my taste, and can get stringy items easily caught in it. But where-in I need it to remove cat hair from the sofa, it is a solid five stars.

This is a good alternative for one of those large home vaccums that weight too much. In terms of price, suction and portability, this is definitely a winner as it excells in all of these categories. I have mostly used it to clean up the inside of cars, and I like that it is very light for the amount of suction that it holds. Best thing is that it is wired, so no messing around with loss of suction due to low battery level.

I am loving this vacuum! I use it to clean my base boards, stairs, smaller areas the other vacuum doesn’t fit! I hardly use my cordless Dyson anymore bc it doesn’t compare to how powerful this is and the battery dies quickly. Great price and would recommend

I dont usually leave a review but this vacuum is amazing! I thought my carpeted steps were clean but after using this the container was full of cat hair. I have 2 cats and couldnt believe how much hair was still in the carpet. I love this vac!
