> 3 dayThis is a really good buy for a small hand held vacuum. I dont know if you are like me and read the negative reviews or more critical ones first on Amazon before you buy a product. I read the negative ones first and took them in consideration before buying this vacuum but it wasnt enough to justify not getting it. Some just seemed a little too nitpicking to me. I have a toddler and a wife with lots of hair. So the day can be quite challenging in keeping up with souvenirs left behind by either of them. One of the complaints I saw when I was doing my homework was the vacuum made hair swirl or crumbs scatter across a floor when youre try vacuuming it. OK. This is a half truth. It will do that because the side vent are exhausting a lot of air because the vacuum is pretty powerful. You can still vacuum hair without that happening after you learn how to use the vacuum correctly. I dont have a problem and its something with practice and getting the feel of the vacuum is what its all about. The suction is amazing. It gets every crumb my son can manufacture with his little hands. Some days its like an old fashion western showdown between two gunslingers facing off in the middle of town. I actually dont mind when he stares at me and deliberately crumbles a Ritz cracker or Chex cereal in my face. I now have a vacuum that can cover quite a bit and hold a lot in the canister. I use the wide mouth attachment mostly and it works really good for getting under tight areas. Im not sure how long it goes for it to automatically shut off and cool down like most hand vacuums do because I use it primarily for messes around the kitchen, bathroom, and couches wherever the baby is snacking. I really love this vacuum and it is truly a good buy. ddd

Greater than one weekAfter just using it a couple times I can say this is one powerful machine. Easy to clean. Way better than the handheld vacs of the old days. Saves your back doing carpeted stairs and efficient for getting around in the car thanks to attachments.

> 3 dayThis vacuum was so much fun its ridiculous. PROS: -Very powerful for its size. More suction than even many larger vacuum cleaners. -Extremely easy to use: --Ergonomic and lightweight. On/Off button can be reached by the thumb, one handed. --Rubber tip can safely and efficiently clean cloth and the like. --Plastic hose rotates at BOTH ends, so its rarely awkward. --Attachments are quick and easy to swap. A long one, a wider flat one, and a rubber one. -Cord is a decent length and comes with an attached velcro wrap which is very, very useful. -Emptying is a cinch: --Compartment is clear, so you can tell when its time to empty. --Filter is REUSABLE and easy to clean (as far as reusable filters are concerned, anyways.) --Easy to pop off, dump, pop on again. -The entire thing is accessible, so if anything gets clogged it can be fixed lickety-split. -Remarkably inexpensive. -Yellow-orange is cool. Gives it an industrial edge. CONS: -The cord, wrapped up, is about the same weight as the vacuum. Its a little awkward hanging off the side, but its an understandable sacrifice to save the simple and small design of the rest of the cleaner. -Exhaust blows forwards from both sides, which can kick up dust a little; especially if youre cleaning a dry spill. This isnt much of an issue if you use the hose, though. -Gets kinda warm after a few minutes of use. Doesnt ever seem to get really hot, though. Cools off fast too. -Not exactly easy to store, what with its separate attachments and all. Another sacrifice for its simple design. -Doesnt have a light. Fortunately for me, I had a tiny flashlight with a stretchy strap to attach to my finger or the tip of the nozzle. My genius upgrade. Other cons come from it just being a vacuum cleaner. Such as: -Its noisy. Not deafening, though. -Cleaning the filter gets dust everywhere. Do it outside. *cough, cough* -It gets dirty easy, and visibly. So clean it with a little water and a rag, if its even worth bothering. And its small, so its limited in other obvious ways: -It fills up fast, making it ever the more wonderful how easy it is to empty. -It cant do large areas like carpet or big rugs. -It doesnt come with a long tube or brush attachment. -You cant use it standing up. SYNOPSIS: This vacuum is a JOY. Its easy to use, lightning fast and powerful. YOUR STAIRS WILL BE CLEAN. And your corners will be dustless. I loved running around the house hitting all the dust-bunny hot spots; bang, bang, bang. Done. Clean. No questions asked. I leave all the big stuff to my Filter Queen, but with this Cleanview Ill never cut corners again!

> 3 dayI wanted to love this machine, but it just didnt happen. I bought it to use on my stairs, since my regular vacuum is a huge upright that falls over really easily when using the handheld tools. I wanted a corded handheld so that over time, I didnt lose suction power as the battery deteriorated. First issue: the wide attachment has two strips of fabric, one on either side, to help pick up hair. On the first stair, one strip came off. THE VERY FIRST USE! How is this going to last me for years when something falls apart on the first use? There was still some glue residue on the tool, so stuff was getting stuck there instead of being vacuumed up. The second issue I had could easily be overlooked if I didnt have any other problems, but since I did, it was just one more tick against this vacuum. The cord length is very awkward. It is really long for a compact little machine, but just barely too short to clean an entire flight of stairs. I had to pause part-way though the stairs to move the plug to a different outlet, but still took a long time to wrap the cord up, and it takes up just as much space as the handheld itself. The third issue to me is the worst: after one flight of stairs, I had to let it sit for over 2 hours to cool down before I could use it again. I could not believe how hot it got so quickly. Very worrisome. The pro of this handheld is that it did have pretty good suction power, but if you arent using the attachments, you have to hold it at the perfect angle to take advantage of the suction... kind of annoying. Overall, was not impressed with this product, and I dont think it is worth the price. Returned it. Normally, I trust Bissell products, and have replaced this with a different Bissell machine that I am much happier with. I dont have pets, so I cant comment on how well it does with animal hair. Maybe thats all its good for.

> 3 dayThis is PERFECT for what I wanted. Ive been looking for a handheld vacuum with a hose for some time for dusting. I have allergies and vacuuming away that dust is so much better than dry dusting or dusting with dusting sprays. The suction is perfect for this, not very noisy, long cord, and the vacuum is light and easy to handle and easy to clean. The MAJOR issue is that this unit uses Bissells odd attachment size - 1 1/8? - and the attachments fit IN the opening, not over the opening. You cannot use standard 1 1/4 attachments that fit over the hose without an adapter. The vacuum doesnt come with a brush attachment either or it wouldnt be a problem for me. I was able to buy an adapter on eBay and now can use all my existing attachments. Depending on what you need it for, but knowing the situation with the attachments, it could be perfect. But I wish Bissell had either included a brush attachment or included an adapter.

> 3 dayWorks well. Sturdy. But the side blower blows away hair - especially on steps.
