I’m changing my review. It was not easy to get this to hook up to the app . After many many attempts I finally got it to work and I love it . It works as it should .

Easy to use, convenient to turn on all lamps at once or a few at a time. Programming is easy. Phone app is very useful too

I have purchased these in past, they had a feature where you could monitor energy usage by day by month etc. Great feature, because of this feature (better UI in app, friendlier more thorough than Kasa brand). I buy new ones and they have been removed. 1st pic ( see energy feature on bottom right 2nd pic shows how the stats look of the energy monitor feature 3rd pic. Shows this new updated model. Has no energy monitor feature Pic 4 and 5. Kasa Smart plugs. Still has energy feature just not as thorough as bnlnk app This energy monitor feature was great. No they took it away and still charge the same. Rip off. Choose Kasa Smart plugs now. They have energy usage feature though

The instructions make it seem like it will take forever to set them up and connect to Alexa, but it really wasnt hard at all. Once connected to Alexa they work great! The instructions are my only complaint

I purchased a four-pack of the smart plugs and set them up using the posted instructions. These integrated with my Alexa very simply and are very convenient to use. However, one of the four plugs would not link properly. I contacted customer service they responded very quickly (several e-mails in the same day). The service tech Steven walked me through the setup. Once it was determined that the unit was defective, they sent out a new unit right away (I had it in two days). Good customer is so very rare these days. It is nice to see it still exists at BN-Link Support!

Im really impressed with it. Its a great choice for anyone who needs a reliable smart plug that can handle heavy-duty tasks. Firstly, this smart plug can handle large power loads. I was a bit worried about overloading, but this plug handled my 1800W espresso coffee machine with ease. Its definitely reassuring to know that I dont have to worry about causing any electrical problems. Secondly, the timer function is fantastic. Once I set it up, it continued to work even if my Wi-Fi connection broke. This means that I can rely on the timer to turn my devices on and off at specific times, even if Im not home or if theres a problem with my internet connection. Overall, I highly recommend this. Its really convenient to be able to control my devices from my phone and the ability to handle large power loads makes it stand out from other smart plugs on the market. Give it a try and see how it can make your life easier!

I had an older mostly mechanical timer for a table lamp. I liked to have it scheduled to turn on and off especially if I wasnt home in the belief it might fool burglars someone was there. This is much more accurate as over time it doesnt seem to drift like the former dumb timer. Using the app was easier after having used it for a wall timer Id already installed and configured. I do not integrate these with Alexa or Google however so if thats your intent you will need to either experiment or look elsewhere for guidance. There is a lighted power button so it can be controlled manually as well. However, if used in a darkened room the backlight might be noticeable. In my case, its behind a table in the living room so partially hidden and not an issue.

I chose to try these as they kept coming up as a the selection when I typed in the Smart Plug that I have already as I didn’t want to have to download multiple apps to run different rooms of my home. My orig plugs don’t seem to be in business or maybe they got bought out by this company. These worked great with the app for the my current app / smart plugs.

I found these to be more of a nuisance than the ones I had for years by the same company. I sent these back.
